Dustin Knight Appreciation (Grind)

I thought the movie "Grind" was great and especially loved Adam Brody's character Dustin. Did anyone else like it?

Dustin was Sethy! Not many people I know saw it either.

And btw do you have Phantom Planet's new CD? I haven't gotten it yet but I'm dying to listen to it! Sorry, off topic! Dustin was cool!

Maybe if they released it after the OC was gaining popularity all the Sethams would have gone to see it, they release Grind after 2 episodes I think.

DePpSDoLL -OT-I preorderd Phantom Planet's CD in December, and they just shipped it on the 8th so I haven't got it yet. What ticks me off is that some stores put out the CD early, like Wal-Mart, which I went on Sunday 2 days before it was released.

Yeah I saw Grind the day after The Model Home premiered so Adam hadn't really gained his popularity yet. I actually went to see it b/c I'd seen Adam in The Ring and looked him up b/c I thought he was really cute. (yep I looked him up purely for shallow reasons)

That sucks that you havent gotten your CD yet! I just got a gift certificate to Sam Goody so I'm hoping to get it later today.

Oh I cannot even tell you how much I loved Dustin/Adam in this movie. His character is my personality TOTALLY, and I already loved The O.C. w/ him and GG of course so it was well worth my $3.50 matinee price.

Such an underrated movie, (like Josie and The Pussycats) sure it's a little crude at times, but it's lighthearted and it's nice at the end. Totally buying the DVD on January 27th.

As Dustin would say it, "It was worth the $4.75 I spent, every cent."

DePpSDoLL - I got my PP stuff today, It's really good, bit more rockish than the last 2 albums but good. Did you go buy it yet? I received 2 patches I wasn't suppose too, sweet, huh?

I'm so jealous I havent gotten mine yet!! I'm a bad fan I know. So are the songs more like "In Our Darkest Hour"? i thought that was the most rockish on The Guest. Lucky, 2 patches! Tomorrow I will get the album if its the last thing I do!

To stay on topic: I cant wait until Grind comes out on DVD

OT - It's more "Darkest Hour" / "Big Brat" -ish, people say they sound like the Strokes but I've never listened to the Strokes. By the bed is my fav e so far.

On -Topic, I hope the DVD will have a lot of extras, I'd like to see how the dancing scene came about.

the dancing scene is the best! I would buy the DVD just to see it again...this movie can be kind of gross but it has it's moments and lots of Adam!
