There is a rather obvious reason why there appears to be so many insiders right now, and that’s because WB is employing a PR tactic whereby they’ll tell anyone willing to ask about the project a bunch of lies, so they in turn will spread them.

All this info isn’t an attempt to catch a leak; it’s just them trying a new tactic to confuse the living hell out of the internet.
Robert, Emi, Clint – ALL these people are being lied to. Not necessary by their contacts, but they’re contacts have most certainly been lied to and those lies are most certainly being passed on to them.

I was told a while to ago to be careful about opening my mouth, (by two sources I’ve had since 2004 that not once have ever let me down), because they themselves were being told a different story every week as to what was going on. These sources are keenly aware of PR tactics, and they just sensed something was up. If I had posted what they were being told I would have had to change my story 4 times already -- and each time I'd be saying my #1 trusted never been wrong sources are saying this.

The cast lists are garbage, the dates about official releases are garbage. WB will just keep pumping out the lies, and they’ll announce what’s going on when they’re good and ready.

Here’s the deal – you’ll know who is cast a few days (most likely the night before) an official release, because that’s when the PR agents will get that list in their hands, and will be told to release it to their respective media outlets. Until that time, what you’re getting is a dog chasing its own tale.

In my Alerts I had only positive articles about him getting the part. Well, I just try to stay neutral and then freak out..no matter because of what! ^^

A lot of the articles are just posting what sites like IESB or AICN have posted. And it could be possible that what those websites have said, according to their sources, are false. (Especially AICN since they said Porter was cast as Superman, and Porter himself, didn't even know since he tested for The Flash).

The only evidence we really have is from Scott Porter himself when was in Texas for that Wizard World thingy. But it is possible that WB could've lied to him about casting as well. I mean, I know this is a stretch, and excuse my pessimistic mind -- but if they've been so secretive with casting in the past couple of months, why would they tell him that Adam got the part? I mean the actors that have been cast, can't even tell anyone that they got a part until after the official announcement.

So unless it's from Variety or Hollywood Reporter, I'd take anything as a grain of salt for JLA only.

But I really really hope that we get something positive out of this - and that all the signs/rumours/talks about Adam getting the part are true. Excuse my rant.

That's true, Jess. It really makes no sense

We have to be patient and wait for the official confirmation, there's no other choice!!

I knew that WB were spreading a load of BS! I don't believe anything now. This is really annoying because it feels like we're back to square one and there's still a billion to one chance that Adam has the part, and if it's true and WB are spreading lies then maybe it means he hasn't got the part at all and they're just using his name as a decoy!

Okay, I must think positive thoughts, happy, happy, positive thoughts. *breathe*
I suppose looking at it this way, there's still a chance that when we do get official news Adam's name will be on the casting list. We can still cling onto that hope.
