Without A Trace - Your Very Own WAT Episode

I have an idea that seems like it would be a fun and very interesting topic to do.

We've watched this show for many seasons now. Some of us from the very beginning since the premiere; others have started in later seasons. Either way, we love the show and the premise of the series which is finding missing people. We've seen many of the cases on the show and some have mirrored real-life stories. But what about a situation or storyline that we haven't seen before? Have you ever wanted to do your own WAT episode? Here's your chance to tell us your ideas.

1. Give us your episode description. In other words, tell us your missing person storyline for your episode.

2. Let us know who would be working on your case and the investigation process for your missing person.

3. You can tell us how you would want the episode to end. It doesn't always have to conclude with the missing person being alive, although we usually want a happy ending. But, more than anything, let's make it realistic. Or, if you don't want to tell us how it ends, we can make this even more interesting and we can try to figure out the ending. Hee!

4. Pick a title for your episode.

5. Let us know what songs you would play, if any, throughout the episode, and during which scenes.

Can't wait to see everyone's different ideas on this! You never know -- your personal WAT episode just might be a storyline used for a real WAT episode in the future!

I'll have to start thinking about my own episode too. I have a few ideas that I'm kicking around in my head.

I was thinking about this today... How about this (let me know if you might like to approach it this way...) Where we do this as a 'team'...

For example, Nik would start off the case setting etc., and then different posters would contribute different parts (including characters, witness statements, music etc etc...) Would that be easier for us are make it harder?

I mean people could still post their own (done by themselves), but I'm not feeling that bright or imaginative...

We can do it either way. It doesn't matter to me. Just wanted to put something out there different and unique. But yeah, we can start that way in which each one of us contribute different parts of an episode. (But if anyone wants their own episode doing ALL of the parts, feel free to do that too.).

I'll start:

The main agent working the team case is Danny.

OK, for the Team case :

The missing person is Thomas Lomax age 23. He works in a drive thru restaurant. He was last seen at the end of his shift approx 7.00am Thursday. His disappearance was reported by his girlfriend at 9.00am just before she went to work. He should have been back home and hadn't left any messages for her. They have been saving to get married and she knew he would have come straight home after his shift.

The drive thru owner saw Thomas talking to a young woman outside the drive thru just as he was leaving. He seemed to give the woman a package. These are all the leads that Danny has at the moment.

Okay... Danny is the primary (thanks Nik

). Let's see... Danny goes and interviews the co-workers and find that everything seems to be in order, except that a side door that Thomas was supposed to secure had not been properly latched at closing time. Further inspection reveals that the lock latch had been covered with duct tape. No other disturbance to the restaurant was noted. No money was missing from the night's deposits etc. Martin and Elena arrive to help Danny on the scene (and with the case from that point forward).

Martin notices tension between Danny and Elena when they arrive on the scene. He picks up on it but doesn't mention anything yet. They focus on gathering from Danny what he has on the case so far.
