Glad to hear that The Dark Knight is living up to expectations I'll probably try to see Batman Begins sometime this week, so that hopefully I'll be able to catch it this coming weekend.

My weekend was.. good. The sister had a slumber party Friday night for her B-Day which was Sat. Then Sat night she, the mother, some family friends, and I went out to eat for her actual B-Day day. After which me and a friend promptly ditched them and went out, lol. Then I wound up babysitting most of the day today. Thusly, in a nutshell, it was crazy

Sounds like it was crazy.

I relaxed most of Sunday. I am tired and exhausted so much during the week that when I can just chill for at least one day on the weekend, I take it as soon as I can get it.

Pretty much.

I can def. understand that. And Sunday chill-days are fabulous. I chased after a 21 month old most of this Sunday and as much as I love running around after her, I really wanted to just fall out on the couch and not get up, lol.

So glad to hear TDK is such a good movie! Maybe when my son comes back home (he's w/ his grandparents) we may go see it...

I had a pretty busy weekend too (sounds like quite a few of us did)... Running around doing errands; working here and there a bit (at home and helping hubby) and managed to get a little shopping in and we also went and oinked out at "The Cheesecake Factory".... Too. Much. Food.

Almost everything I've ever had there is soooooo good... but gracious even their 'lunch' portions are HUGE! I'd rather they reduce the portions and the price a little bit! Gracious... I have to diet for 3 days if I know I"m going to be there...

One would think restaurants would rather sell less food at a smaller price and not have so much wasted that they could have sold. And good grief, I'm sure you do not

I know if they did, I'd go more often But I guess that's part of their appeal for some though...

I mean, it's no wonder obesity is a problem anymore!

The Cheesecake Factory is YUM. I love their food.

In other news, I am so done w/ this heat and humidity all summer long so far. There's no good sane reason it should be 94 degrees at 7am in the morning! Good lord.

Aww .. We've actually had a reasonably mild summer as far as Mississippi goes. The peak of summer won't really hit until bout those first 2-3 weeks of August, but it hasn't been a bad July on the whole

You and me both. Idk, I guess.

Which cheesecake is your fave there? I haven't tried a lot of them but I've liked most all of them so far (Choc. Raspberry, Lemon Raspberry, Chocolate Coconut) and the seasonal special of "Choc. Pistachio' wasn't bad either, though I probably wouldn't order it again...

Oooof... sounds toasty where you are... It's about 81 F here at the moment and the humidity has dropped in the past few days, so it's not too bad...

Hey Ladies!!!

I'm back again from Belarus...returned just today. Great to be here again...I missed you

Belarus was great. Although it rained all the time in the first week (while I was in the capital) it was pretty nice...theaters, operas, meeting friends I haven't seen for ages...
And then, when I was in a village (with a population of just about 150 people) with my friends and relatives, it was hot and sunny all the time. It's great to get away from all the civilization, the smog and the noises of a town...but just for some weeks...I couldn't survive any longer without lots of people around me, water pipe, internet and television...I would hate living in a small town.
And in the evenings we often had warm thunder-storms that are usual in the summer. "Yeah, nice!" would think everybody. But nope!!! Because of these storms we had power failures / blackouts what it became dark...so we played cards and drank tea made on a gas cooker under just one flashlight ...Not very comfortable...but really funny

Anyway, now I'm back in the ordinary world and have to catch up a lot...also at our little board...
So how's everyone doing? Anything special here? Have to read "Off Topic" but it might take some time

P.S.: Have just discovered that new episodes of WAT (here season 6) will be just shown in Germany in spring or even later *cry* :mad
Season 1 will be repeated on an unpopular channel in autumn and by the way I know this season already very well...

Hey stranger! So good to have you back! Glad to hear you had a good time on your travels and enjoyed yourself immensely!

Sorry to hear about the programming plans for WAT where you are Hopefully something will change and you won't have as long to wait...

Not a lot going on here right now...

Just got back from working out a little while ago and am vegging out at the moment...

Next week I'll probably run down to my parent's in Virginia. My son has been staying with them for a couple of weeks during his summer break from school

Good to have you back, Lina! We missed you lots.

Have a good time in Dallas, Avery, even though it's for work.

Astra, my favorite cheesecake there is the Oreo one! Yum! I also like the Kahlua one or just plain Vanilla Bean.

I am house sitting for the week at my friend's house about ten minutes away from my job. Her and her family are in Hilton Head, SC. I love staying at their house -- it's HUGE and like a mini-vacation! The only thing I don't like is taking care of the cats. They are no problem but it's just nothing something I am used to or enjoy in the least, LOL.
