Since we'll be getting into repeats (both on CBS and TNT), I thought I'd also bring this thread up again on the board

I have got good news. As you know, I read lots of French sites and know a lot about WAT in France.
WAT is watched by 6 or 7 millions of people in France and there live only 56 millions. So every eighth person watches it.
30% of all people who watched TV last monday have watched WAT.

The series is so popular that France starts to make a French WAT version. (also Cold Case) I wonder which WAT will be better. It is promised that the French WAT will be shown in Germany and Spain, too.

I think it's great that France has so many WAT fans.

But the bad news for me is that the channel which shows the new WAT eps. here will stop showing them because of terrible quotes. They'll stop before the summer and then they will show older episodes (the first 13 of season 4). If the quotes won't become better they won't show WAT at all! So I will have seen only the first 7 eps! And I was already so excited to see Primed.
Fortunately there are old episodes of season 1 shown at nidnight on Friday. So I can watch something regularly. I'm already used to going to bed late on Friday.

There is one thing I don't understand. On Friday, at midnight, much more people watch old eps. than the new ones on Thursday in the evening.

Well I'm glad that its so popular there!

That is peculiar about the old eps being more viewed... It could be a scheduling thing or people want to see the older ones b/c they're catching up?

*shrug*

It's not easy to find out because you have to read a lot and to get to know what they think. It's not enough to check out a website of another country, you have to do a lot.
I needed a lot of time to become kind of an "insider" in the French WAT-culture.
I also wonder about all the other countries...

Well... I think everywhere there are lots of procedural 'crime' shows etc.... so I just hope it doesn't lose steam, so to speak...

So how is this season comparing to previous ones for you?

Honestly, I've been a little bit disappointed... It's still pretty good, but just was hoping for more...

I still think that the strike has done the seasons of many TV shows aren't as good as the past ones

Good point... there's no denying the impact (on show quality or the attitude of viewers)
