Third Season Episode Survivor

Okay, it seems like we're ready for this, so here goes...

Round 1

Okay, here are the rules...
1. I have provided a list of the episodes in Season 3.
2. Vote for the episode left on the list that you like the least.
3. Short descriptions and pictures have been provided to help identify the episodes. For the most part, the pictures are of the victim(s). (There are exceptions when I felt it aided identification of the episode.)
4. I was going to link to the tv.com (formerly tv.tome) episode summaries, but they don't have them anymore. I was then going to link to MPUE's episode summaries, but only a few are up for season 3 (because I haven't gotten around to writing the rest yet). I linked to the ones that have summaries, and I will add more as I write them and they are posted. If you don't remember an episode that doesn't have a summary, feel free to PM me.
5. Changing your vote during a round is allowed, just be sure to indicate that it is a changed vote.
6. Discussion of votes is encouraged.
7. Each round will last approximately 3 days.

Season 3
In the Dark--A girl who recently became blind and her teacher disappear while on a camping trip. It is Vivian's first case as supervisor, and Martin and Samantha's relationship goes to a new level.

Thou Shalt Not--A nurse who works in a burn unit to atone for being part of the bombing of an abortion clinic many years ago disappears while changing a tire on a rural road.

Light Years--A delusional man who believes he was abducted by aliens vanishes after claiming that people are after him.

Upstairs Downstairs--After being fired, a nanny disappears with the baby she had been hired to care for.

American Goddess--While at a publicity event, the winner of a plastic surgery television contest vanishes.

Nickel and Dimed, Part 1--After dropping her son off at the babysitter's, a poor single mother vanishes.

Nickel and Dimed, Part 2--Samantha goes undercover to try to find out what happened to the mother that disappeared in the first part.

Doppelganger, Part 2--When a homeless woman disappears from a shelter, the team is forced to reopen the case of Rick and Greg Knowles. In Doppelganger, Part 1, Greg Knowles confessed to a series of brutal murders, but the team always thought that his twin brother Rick had really been the mastermind behind the killings. When a homeless woman disappears from a shelter, the team is forced to reopen their case.

Trials--An elderly juror disappears in the middle of a trial.

Malone vs. Malone--On a day when no people are missing, Jack undergoes a deposition for his divorce, while the rest of the team decorates for and attends a holiday party.

4.0--A model high school student is supposed to attend an SAT prep class with her friends but never gets on the bus.

Penitence--When two prisoners escape, the sister of one of them is convinced that something bad has happened and asks the team to find him.

Volcano--An autistic boy runs away while on a field trip to the Natural History Museum.

Neither Rain Nor Sleet...--A postal worker disappears while on her route, along with $12,000 worth of video games that she was supposed to be delivering. Vivian discovers that she has a congenital heart condition.

Party Girl--Paris Hilton err... A socialite is kidnapped while on the party circuit. She is then shown on a website which encourages viewers to vote as to whether she should live or die. The team races to find her, especially as the "die" votes are in the lead.

Manhunt--While Martin is out for a morning jog, he observes a boy being kidnapped. Although he gives chase, he is unable to prevent the kidnapping, and he becomes determined to find the boy.

Lonestar--When a successful realtor vanishes, the team discoveres that he may have had a secret life.

Transitions--After a woman vanishes on her way to choir practice, the team finds out that she was hiding a big secret that may have led to her disappearance.

Second Sight--A young woman who made her living as a psychic disappears. Vivian is out, waiting to undergo heart surgery.

The Bogie Man--A troubled teenage girl disappears in the same location as a girl disappeared a number of years ago, and the two cases may be connected.

Off the Tracks--Danny's ex-con brother vanishes after receiving a phone call. At first, Danny tries to find his brother on his own, but he ends up receiving help from the other members of the team.

John Michaels--When an old man vanishes after almost committing suicide, the team investigates and Jack discovers many parallels between the old man's life and his own.

Endgame--A young woman who is involved with several causes disappears after a police officer comes to her office looking for her.

Because there were too many pictures, I left off the ones for Nickel & Dimed part 2, Off the Tracks, and Endgame because a) I'm pretty sure most everyone knows them without pictures, and b) I doubt they'll be voted out in the first couple of rounds. I'll add them back in as others are eliminated.

Hopefully I covered everything, but if there are any questions, feel free to ask.
This round of voting ends Saturday. (hopefully...)

Have fun!

In a move that will surprise no one, I am voting for John Michaels.

I have no doubts. while I admired the writers for sperimentating new things, I didn't like John Michaels for an heap of reasons.

Meredith, you did a great job with the table of episodes! Brava!

ETA: I made a mistake when I wrote the name of the episode I intended to vote, it's John Michaels and not malone vs Malone, call it a lapsus
I liked, in a way, Malone Vs Malone, more than John Michaels for sure. Sorry!

To my own surprise, I'm not going to vote for JM today. I hope I won't regret this decision... (I love Am goddess...) but the ep that really bored me, though the subject was very interesting on paper, was

Trials

Definitely, but it shouldn't go yet, IMO.

I agree... I thought 'Goddess' was one of the weakest ones, so I went for it...

Yeah, I agree w/ you on that. It doesn't look like we're gonna get our wish this round, though...

But, I don't have to whip out the arsenal machinery yet.

Just a quick drive-by post because I'm going to be at my mom's house starting tomorrow, and the fact she has dial-up coupled with the fact I'm basically going to be slave labor getting her house/stuff ready to move, I don't know how often I'll be posting this week.

I really didn't think others shared my dislike of character episodes. I thought John Michaels was going to get to be my choice for awhile! *sigh* I guess I need to choose another episode then, because it's out.

Voting History
Round 1: John Michaels

This is hard. While there were very few episodes I loved, there were very few I hated, either. I guess I'll just keep going through the character based ones. (And, yes, Off the Tracks will be on that list eventually, not that I expect others will join me in voting for it. In fact, I bet once I get to that episode, it will end up being my choice for many rounds. Just preparing you for the idea now... ) For this round, I'm going with the other Jack centered one and saying Malone vs. Malone.

Well... we could pop a few shots over their heads...

My vote again is for American Goddess
