I watched Hawks and handsaws: a good example of what I come to say. I liked it really much, and much sweet Danny in it, and, as usual, it has already voted off!

Hawks and handsaws is the one about the paranoid attorney and the little girl. I didn't dislike it, but I admit that I was biased by a stunning Danny, and by the attorney boss who I liked a lot (her voice, so masculine, made me , and her mother sweetness was a bit unbelievable at that point, but I liked her).

Last night I watched Life rules. The fact is that, apart a few exceptions, I'm enjoying all Season2!
Only, this is sad I know, I have to fill the dark sides I get every time by reading the transcript the day after...

ok, i don't remember that one then

just a random comment that you reminded me of when you mentioned transcripts...

in the season 1 ep "he saw, she saw", i coulda SWORN that in one scene martin calls the husband "miller" instead of "muller" and at one point they call the bad guy by a diff name in one scene... as if they changed the character's name after they'd already shot some scenes and they hoped people wouldn't notice... but then again, i could just be hearing things

...so, anyone else hear the same thing???

Hmm, interesting, Emily!

I don't know, though. And I haven't seen that episode in a while.

You know, I can't promise I'm going to rewatch it in a short time: it's not my fav ep and, above all, I'm rushing to watch all S2 and S3 eps before in America they air S4, so I'm pretty busy...

Maybe you weren't at the board when Smilla and I discussed about it, but watching WAT with their voices dubbed, if on the one hand is better so that we can understand everything, on the other hand is awful for two reasons: free translation and not hearing their voices. I hate Danny's italian voice, it hasn't any of the undertones and shades of Enrique true voice.

Watched The line: didn't catch a ...
Read the transcript: needed a colleague of mine help cuz she's an English expert, got a couple of hints that helped me to understand it... never had such a hard time with English, that ep was hell! A good one, technically, though!

(hey, next one is Wannabe.................... hopefully tonight............ )

lol!! you should hear the spanish dubs on some movies over here!!!! OMG! they're HORRID!!! i can imagine italian isn't much better... so don't worry i understand completely i can't stand dubbing, even in foreign films (i'd rather just read subtitles ANY day )

ooh! wannabe if i recall when i watched that one... i loved the danny stuff (and most of the sam stuff too) but coulda cared LESS about the missing kid or the case

Ditto to everything Ross said about dubbing. I prefer listening to the original voices, and if Danny italian voice dosen't have the undertones of EM actual voice, you should ear Martin's Italian voice, bleah!
As for your question, Emily, Italian dubber, I think, are too merciless about that kind of mistakes, I think. So if the error was there I'm almost sure they would correct it. I will check out the episode, thought, now that I've finished all the new ones, Season One is going to be my daily dose of WaT

lol! yeah, i think we can ALL agree that dubbing is, well, AWEFUL

and yay! i don't remember where in the ep martin seems to say it diff, but i do know he's at the office and sam's there i think... jack then uses a diff name (or so i think) for the bad-guy/boyfriend when he's at the post office (i think...) ... if you catch 'em, do tell! would be nice to know i'm not crazy

though even if ya don't, well, i guess crazy ain't TOO bad.... *crawls back into fluffy white box*

Sorry for me asking this, but you mean you're in a spanish speaking country (and speak a wonderful English) or you're in America and you happened to watch Spanish dubbed movies for Latin American people?

As for Wannabe, you know what? It was very good, I'm not denying, but I stayed quite cool about it, not so moved!
A tree falls was more emotionally hooking IMHO.
I couldn't catch the evolution in Danny's concern about the kid, and so his emotions displayed in the last scene were sort of a surprise to me. Maybe the fact that I had already watched that last scene in web clips a lot of times didn't help, as well as the fact that I understood most of their dialogues, but not everything they said.

I did care about the kid, but again I would think I was supposed to care more!

I don't know if it's because I hated middle school (5th and 6th grade were dreadful), but I really became attached to the missing kid. That is one of the cases that I most cared for the missing person. I didn't really care as much about the missing kid in A Tree Falls. (Although the Martin stuff was nice.)
