Thanks, hun... that way I'll be sure to get it updated... and oh yeah... they forget at CSI all the time... but it helped when I edited in a little message..

Something like:

That's kinda blowing me away. None of the boards I've posted on have ever had issues forgetting, lol.

I come by OT sometimes. More so in the summer and late at night when everywhere else(boards, lj, aim) is quiet.

You're a good mod

If they forget it has no reflection on you but on their own smarts.

I think, the reason I've never encountered that, is most of the boards/threads I post on, the posters are picky about the first post and how it looks. And then one board that shall not be named, the mods are always miraculously around to start the new thread so no one else has a chance to forget(as if on that board, they would)

Awww.. thanks... I just used to try to stay on top of when new ones were created but inevitably one would get overlooked and I'd feel bad about, so I like to encourage/ask the thread starters for help in that area (a reminder) that helps me out and helps them make sure to get the new listing up...

I actually kind of prefer it if posters start most threads... as long as its the same format (primarily for ep threads, especially)... but generally I'm not into being a board dominatrix...

Yeah, we don't have that problem at S60, lol. We don't go through threads fast enough and with only an average of 5 people posting, well, the regulars know what they're doing, lol. But I can understand how it could happen on the bigger boards. Especially if you have a newbie or first timer posting it. I actually wrote up a How-To-Post-A-Thread earlier today for one of ours that hasn't done it yet

Yeah, I like it when posters start them. It makes more sense. Instead of only two people being able to edit the first post, you have three. Keeps mods from being bogged down with requests to add people to shipper/fan lists and updating becauses/banners/etc.

Well I say one-shot. I meant for it to be. But then the idea for the second part came too easily. But I haven't talked to my beta this weekend. I'll get her to look over it and hopefully have it up in a couple days.
