If anyone's curious, CTV is airing this episode tonight (August 21), I'm watching it now.

Of course. I do hope you all enjoy it.

ETA: one thought I did have was
Spoiler:
I felt so bad for the missing guy and the father he was trying to help out. He made a replica of a necklace/chain and tried convincing the other guy that it was his son's, and that this was proof his son is dead. I felt so bad for them because, despite how misguided this was it was done out of kindness. The whole episode is scary and depressing.
In other news, I thought Poppy Montgomery looked amazing.

Well.....? What'd everyone think?

I actually rather liked this one... Granted it wasn't a big 'bang for your buck' type of season premiere.... but a solid one...

Loved Steven Weber and Linda Hunt's interactions w/ ALP's 'Jack' Very cute...
and interesting I hope in the future... (especially the dynamics b/t the Weber character and Jack...)

I just adore Jack's character and the way he deals w/ some of the politics etc. (Country music?) <--- that line had me cracking up for some reason

A great couple of other lines too... one from Danny and the other one from Martin (Way to hit, Mommy <-- or something like that anyway)...

for me! I enjoyed this one...

And oooh next week's promo looks very intriguing too...

I managed to see the episode and thought it was a good one. I liked the Jack we saw last night ( not that I ever dislike him !) It was good the way he stayed calm after Medina was such an ass with him. Jack's voluntarily going to counselling which is also good and shows that maybe he wants to straighten himself out. I just hope for a bit more J/S interaction as the series progresses.

I agree! I know what you're saying about Jack though... I found this Jack a wee bit more likable! and calm/cool with his new boss... Almost like an indulgent parent...

Ooh- I really enjoyed the premiere.

It felt like the show's gone back to its first season when the episodes actually made me moved by the end.

Loved the actor who played the father of a missing girl, and loved Martin making a joke about Sam hitting some guy.
