The problem is that it's an over 5 years ago article. I remember reading it and actually being a bit surprised. I had no idea that they used to date. I only remember that specific interview because I'm a huge JD/Elliot fan, and so when I read that the actors used to date, I was like, "no wonder the chemistry is so good!" But it's pretty much confirmed all over the internet too. If you go to any dating profile sites for actors, they list who dated who, and most of them are correct. For instance, for Zach, it says Mandy Moore, Bonnie(forgot her last name), Shiri, and Sarah Chalke. So I don't have any doubt in my mind at all. But it was the past. Plus, it fits with Bill Lawrence always teasing both Zach and Sarah about it in the episode commentaries. It's very obvious. I mentioned which episode commentaries in the previous thread, I think some in season one and some in season two.
