Do you think that it'll be called Scrubs: Season Nine, ___________: Season Nine (which makes no sense) or __________: season one??

Will it be seperate and a spin off, or a new season?

Technically both it seems, yeah its an odd situation, it was no doubt commissioned as Scrubs and sold it seems to at least one international television network (technically a system) in CityTV in Canada as Scrubs Season 9.

I've got a gut feeling it may not get a name change to mid way through.

I don't think it'll change name. Maybe it'll be something like Scrubs: med school (lame, I know!) or something.

This is the perfect excuse for speculation.

They want an actress in the role obviously, so any suggestions on who she maybe?

Pity about Lauren Graham, but I am sure there's someone else.

I am trying to think of someone old enough whos famous enough who's just finished up a TV series and only person I can come up with is Sarah Wayne Callies from Prison Break, not that comedic though.

. But I love her, even though Deb the way she is on the show really annoys me, Jennifer managed to keep her pretty likeable some way or another.

God, I forgot her name, but the woman on Lie To Me, she's pretty cool. I can see her do a bit of comedy and go head to head with Cox..

ETA yep after I checked her photo to recognise her I automatically knew it, I went on Scrubs Wiki to check, yep shes her.
