I've seen all but the final season of GG (I've watched the first 6 episodes, but I'm not loving the last season - I've been watching the whole series for the first time in re-runs) and I think Lauren could easily fill the neurotic rambling void left by Sarah Chalke now that she is no longer a regular. But maybe Lauren is sick of all the talking.

I think, judging by her interviews, she is one of those people who never gets sick of talking.

I don't think she could ever fill Sarah's void, but she'd do it better than anyone else in existence.

..I'd rather not think of Lauren's character as a "replacement" in a sense, you know? It's not fair really. She'll be funny or maybe she won't, that's it. If I compare her to Elliot or Carla then it'll just automatically ruin it.

I wouldn't want her (or any new character) to be the replacement of old ones. I think we need new faces and new characters.

Aye, Channel 4 air other ABC Productions in HD so I shouldn't have to worry about HD.
