| "I am the king of gay chicken!" The Ben Sullivan/Brendan Fraser Appreciation Thread The slightly odd and camera obsessed but very cool and funny brother of Jordan Sullivan (and uh, the other one), and best friend and former brother-in-law to Dr. Perry Cox - he first showed up in "My Occurrence" for a two episode stint in Season 1 - then returned in the Season 3 episode "My Screw Up" which has been one of the most emotional episodes throughout the whole run of Scrubs - so far at least. Sadly the character is deseased - having been diagnosed with leukemia in Season 1 (it went into remission, but he died somewhere in "My Screw Up") though I certainly hope for Ghost Ben  He is of course played by the wonderful Brendan Fraser  Rach has a Ben fanlisting - but I'll be nice and let her plug it herself (you could also put in a photo or two in this thread Rach, I can't seem to find any at the moment). Anyway, if you love Ben (or even liked him) come by and post or talk about Brendan Fraser if you want, it wouldn't be off-topic! | |||

| Really? huh...my mistake, but that's spooky, a Scrubs fanlisting that doesn't belong to you - feels kinda wrong... Kooky guy with camera...awww, I miss Ben, wonder if we WILL see him ever again. I mean with Brendan being a friend of Bill Lawrences - there's probably more of a chance than if it were just a random guest star... I can dream... I love this scene in "My Occurrence" Bar The guys clink their beer bottles together. J.D.: To buddies! Dr. Cox: What in the hell do you think you're doing!? You can't drink beer, you're our driver! That's why we brought you to begin with. Ben: It's just not right. You know, I'm gonna drink this for both of us. He takes J.D.'s bottle and clinks it with Perry's. | I'd love to have someone like Ben - who would sneak me beers when I'm supposed to be driving later As much as I would love to see Ben, it worries me what Cox would have to work through that would require him to see Ben... Ah, so Molly will return? I guess she has to, J.D hasn't REALLY hooked up (completely) with a blonde this season. She's probably the only one I could see suggesting something like the "best friend" thing to Cox.... | |||

| Flashback could happen...though I can see him walking around talking to Perry in the present, ala "My Screw Up" - though like I said before, I'm worried about what situation would call for his appearance - seeing/talking to your dead best friend isn't exactly something you'd be doing for an everyday occurrence.... Random Ben quote - from "My Screw Up" - "I'm a prickly pear!" (insert odd noises as he plays with J.D's photo) I know, very very random | |||

| Ah, but would Ben have been as mean to actually introduce them? I kinda doubt it, unless Ben was paying him back for something - and maybe she wasn't as scary as she later became I guess Ben was probably the only Sullivan he could get on with - he's never had anything nice to say about her parents - and I don't see him and Danni having any kind of friendship either. Ben sounds like the Black Sheep of the family.... | |||

But maybe you're right...maybe she wasn't always that scary. She looked pretty happy in those wedding clips (which I *know* was Christa and Bill, but still! It's Jordan for the purposes of the show!). Or if she was always that scary, obviously Perry was attracted to that because he is also pretty damn scary. | Hmmm, that sounds like a plausible scenario - she torments him, he in turn taunts her back - they have lots of sexual tension, etc, etc...Ben tries to keep Perry away from his sister - which just makes her all the more exciting Although in that scenario how do Ben and Perry meet beforehand? Ben "Noooo, my sister stole my friend, and she's going to turn him crazy too!" Or..... I guess she didn't become fierce and scary until she married Perry - and he in turn neglected her because he was so busy at work? then again that's kind of mean - I'm sure she's a product of her environment - speaking of which I'd love to see the Sullivans - and seeing as Jordan's Christa, I'm sure Bill could get some exciting actors to play her parents Oh and fanfiction.net - I've seen Ben/Perry slash over there - as well as Ellitor fic and one Elliot/Jordan | |||
