It's an amazing song. That's the thing about Death Cab, they have a song that can fit almost any moment..

S8 has just started here in Italy and I watched the dubbed version of the first 2 eps.
And I have to say, the season premiere is awesome. Courtney Cox's intoduction is hilarious, and I love the moment when Elliot goes to talk to Keith, I think she owed him an apology for everything that happened.
And I love the talk between Cox and JD towards the end, and when JD drinks Cox's coffee.

But I have to say, the episode that really struck me, even though I've already seen it at least 3-4 times, was My Last Words. I was watching it with my brother, who'd never seen it before, and I was surprised to see him almost moved.
It's so amazing to see a comedy show do such an episode, so rare. Especially since it wasn't a dramatic moment about one of the characters, it wasn't a death in the family or a bad breakup. JD and Turk were just complementary to the story, they came in on George's last night, and it was just so incredibly emotional to see them spend with him his last moments.
And then again, the ep had some really hilarious moments, like the Steak Night song and seeing JD stuffed and put beside Rowdy, that was awesome.

Nothing new to say, I just think this episode really says what an amazing show Scrubs is.

That's a perfect way to describe it, Val. If someone asked me what Scrubs was all about, or what it represents, that'd be a great episode to start them out on.

Wonderful post, Val .

That's why I love this show so much, why I tell people should watch it. There are so may different layers to the story, to the characters, it's perfect. I think in a lot of sit coms these days that sort of depth is almost lost. It happens sure but what I love the most about Scrubs is that it's not always about being the funniest or the goofies, it's about telling a story that'll touch people in other ways.

And of course My Last Words is a perfect representation of that.
