| Amazing episodes great way to start the season ![]() I'm so happy they decided to bring this show back for another season. I was alittle worried it would be different being on ABC but outside of the lighting the show didn't change a bit and is as good as ever. I loved it Classic Scrubs. | |||

| Okay people, one thing is for sure...Scrubs is back! Those two episodes were vintage Scrubs, but at the same time, not at all. The characters are the same, but they're roles have changed so much. J.D. and Cox having an actual sincere conversation! Of course J.D. went and ruined it, wouldn't be Scrubs if he wasn't an idiot lol. Dr. Maddox is possibly even more disturbing in J.D's fantasies thank Kelso. I think the best part of where Scrubs is going is the fact that they are all matured doctors working together to run the hospital, not just work and learn in it. When J.D. and Turk were hanging out with George, that was some of the best Scrubs dialoged I ever heard. I think they should have kept the story about stuffing Turk and Carla in the actual episode, that was hilarious lol. Oh, and when the hell is the Janitor coming back! When she fired him, my head nearly exploded! I want a lot of Janitor action this season lol. When he laughed after Maddox asked if it would be funny if J.D. broke his neck, I had to rewind the show a bit I was laughing so long. Oh man, I have a million thoughts about these episodes running through my head, I'll let some other people get in here and give their two cents. __________________ "Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy." -Bob Kelso "There ain't no reason things are this way Its how they've always been, and they intend to stay I can't explain why we live this way, we do it every day" -Brett Dennen | |||

![]() I think the Janitor will probably be back once Maddox leaves. I think Courtney Cox only did 3 episodes so he should be back soon. Even if they don't hire him back as the Janitor(which I think they will) I expect him to just be there like Kelso is now. Speaking of Kelso I'm so happy he is still there. | |||

| Some people were saying that episode 1 was bad but I think both were just great. The premiere was pretty damn funny. New interns fit in well. __________________ J.D: You're late, Keith. Which doesn't surprise me because you're a bad person. | |||

| I loved both episodes too obviously the 2nd one was a much stronger episode but I thought the first one was really good too. I think some people just have way too high expectations since its the last season or atleast the last season of the Scrubs we know. Great premiere IMO though. | |||

| Classic Scrubs??? Hardly. The jokes were dry, and did not have that classic Scrubs goofy twist to them. Dr. Cox calling JD by his last name? No thanks. Nothing classic about that. Maybe a heart to heart between JD and Cox would have been an appropriate time. The episodes were extremely slow moving and not clever at all. The structure of the episode was completely off. The plot was decent, but the humor was terrible. The interns are annoying. I may be looking back at the classic episodes (like where they sang guy love and the air band episode) and expecting too much to start. The interns annoyed me and the set is not even close to the one on NBC. Are they on a completely different set? I didn't recognize any of the locations. 8 seasons of a show and they use a different set for the final season? I hope not... I've been a fan of scrubs since the [u]first time[u]JD told the janitor there was a penny stuck in the door (you'll get it!) and this has been my favorite show since that day, but for the time being if I want to really sit back and watch some hilarious comedy, I have to turn to my DVD seasons. I guess I had high expectations for a major let down. It kills me to say this, but if this is how the show is going to end then they should have let the show die with the writers strike to save the embarassment. Not saying that I am giving up all together, I just need a breath of fresh air. | |||

| The set looked the same to me, including the exterior shot... I didn't really like the first episode and was kinda let down. I was glad they let the characters progress with the Cox-J.D. conversation. All of the new interns are annoying me too. The second episode, My Last Words, was incredible. It was a return of form for Scrubs; Braff revealed a few episodes wouldn't feature all of the main characters in order to save money without affecting quality and this was a definite example of that. | |||

| I liked both of the episodes, some of the jokes werent that great and clever like they usually are but it was still pretty good. It seemes like theres much more emotion this time around and less quirky comedy. I just hope it gets more funny and a little less emotional. And they changed the set? I didnt even notice, I thought it was all the same. Oh and btw, whats up with the janitor getting fired!? They better bring him back when maddox leaves, nobody messes with the janior! | |||

| Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.... you're wrong, you're wrong But seriously tony, I can not agree with anything you wrote in your leviathan post. I felt like the jokes were much tighter and better in these two new episodes and tighter than in the past 2, maybe 3 seasons. It felt like the down to earth show I fell in love with in seasons 1-4. Dry humor has been a part of Scrubs since the beginning... your "goofy twist" description is not only vague, but it holds no water. The set is the same. You can't even remember the names of the episodes you reference? Some fan you are. By the way, these two episodes are leagues better than the seasons which the episodes you mentioned are from. I feel like you don't know as much about the show as you're letting on. You seem to be a fan of the later stuff so I assume that this season getting back to the tone of the early episodes really set you off. I will admit that the premiere wasn't perfect. The carla and elliot plot did not have very much payoff, but Elliot's conversation with Keith was very good for her character after the way she treated him last year. There's hope for her to be more like the girl we all loved in the earlier seasons. It's so inspiring to see the human JD, as we did in his conversation with Cox and all of the second episode. __________________ J.D: You're late, Keith.
