I just watched some episodes from season 3 of "Oz" and she played a very bitter wife of a former guard. She was amazing, as usual.

I love the episode where JD and Elliot are talking about Carla, and Doug agrees and she goes all "Carla from the block" on him and starts with the "You don't know me that well Doug!" and JD and Elliot are miming it behind her...heh [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

This is the little Carla blurb I wrote for the Scrubs site I did for my Uni assignment [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

She's the "spicy firecracker from the school of hard knocks" of the group, and she's something of a motormouth. If there's personal business to be meddled in, Carla will be there, telling them what she thinks they should do. She adores her fiancee Turk, though, no matter how much they bicker, they always make it up and it's completely obvious to everyone around them that they're totally in love. As much as she loves to interfere with people's lives, she's trying to get better, and if you want a serious chat with her, she'll give you her honest opinion about something - honesty is a trait that Carla values very highly.

Yes, that was a really great, emotional performance. That is probably one of my favorite Carla episodes now, as well as My Nickname, My Best Friends Wedding, and Her Story 2. Even though she tends to be the most subdued character as far as comedy, she is often the most realistic one, and she does deserve some kind of award for her performance. But then again, if I had my way, every member of the cast would have won some kind of award by now!
