I have to mention that in episode 2.03 "My Case Study" when Kelso is fielding requests after his anniversary he refers to "Black Haired Doctor" as "Dr. Carlson" and says "if pediatrics needs a new" such and such "then you're going to get one!"

And then later, of course, he develops a real character as Dr. Mickhead.... who would be one scary pediatrician.

And is it correct that Season 8 has us meeting some new strangely-named or named-after-their-appearance doctors?

I have a question and with this question it will point out that i am, very much so a dork. First a little back story so you can understand where I am coming from. My fiance and I LOVE SCRUBS. We own season 1 thru 6 and working on getting the rest on DvD. I have been watching all of scrubs continuously because i loathe cable, mostly because of the commercials. Well I recently had a baby, she is 8 weeks old and when she is bored but wont sleep she will watch scrubs with me (well she will stare at the tv and it makes her smile

) so anyway i was watching the commentary, AGAIN, today and when I got to disc 2, ugh i forget which episode number, but there was a reference to World Of Warcraft, when Lavern smashes in the car window to steal Steven. The writer said it was a reference to Leroy Jenkins and then there was another world of warcraft reference and i forget which one that one is now. I was just curious if any of your staff plays only because it BOGGLES my mind that someone outside of that game would know about Leroy Jenkins.

yes yes I play, well I use to until I had my baby. Blame my fiance. It was the only way i would leave him alone about getting off the game.

Anyway aside from this long long long long post i just want to thank you and the entire crew, cast and staff all around for brightening up my day and life with laughter. This is truely the best show i have ever seen and if all of you didnt get along so well and have such a great chemistry the show wouldnt even be close to what it is now. Keep up the wonderful job!!!

Black haired doctor did change names. It was only you who noticed. No one plays World of Warcraft, airy, but we do waste tons of time every day watching you tube videos and such. The "leroy Jenkins" video was viewed continually. Classic stuff.

Bill, I just wanted to tell you, Scrubs is the most realistic hospital on tv.

Really. I'm a 5th year med student (it's 6 years here) and I could tell you who is Kelso, and who is Cox, and so on, in my own ward. And most of my med school friends feel the same way. So, kudos, once again.

And... a question: who is your favourite character? I know you love them all, but if you had to choose, who would that be?

Hey Bill! I thought I read somewhere that you're a Phillies fan. If that is true, congrats! Phinally! I still can't believe we're champs.

Anyway, I just want to thank you. We were at the Scrubs hospital in August and it was so nice of you and your staff to allow us to tour the set. We were in from NJ and it made our trip. My wife and I regret not talking to you. You kind of caught us off guard. You walked by us and said "Hey guys!". We turned and saw it was you but you already passed us and we didn't want to track you down and bother you. I see why a lot of these actors always come back and work for you again. Everything seemed so easy going and fun for such a large production. Anyway, thanks again!

Can't wait for the start of the upcoming season. I will miss it when it's gone. Good luck with all of your future work. You've definitely won over two lifetime fans in my house.

and i read on the other board you were going to get Christa to do one since shes the only cast memeber who has never done one is she going to do one?

Yeah, I'll definitely do some commentaries. Maybe one with the wife. That coulod be fun/dangerous. I have been absent but I'll stop by and answer stuff tomorrow. Check out Alan Sepinwall's blog. He's a tv critic that took us to task (deservedly) when we got a little lazy on the show so I sent him a few bootleg episodes from the new season, and he thought they were... well, go check it out. I have to go buy him a set of snow tires .
