I know last night's episode was a repeat, but here are the overnight ratings anyway.

From Zap2It.com:

Fast National ratings for Monday, March 29, 2004

Networks were for the most part awash in repeats Monday night. A new episode of "CSI: Miami," however, led CBS to a win.

CBS averaged a 9.7 rating/15 share in primetime, beating NBC's 7.4/12 by a fairly large margin. NBC in turn was well ahead of third-place ABC, 4.1/7. FOX came in at 3.4/5, UPN at 2.6/4 and The WB at 2.0/3.

NBC and CBS tied for the lead among adults 18-49, each posting a 5.2 rating in the ad-friendly demographic. FOX took third at 2.5, followed by ABC, 1.9; UPN, 1.5; and The WB, 1.0.

A rerun of "Fear Factor," 8.1/13, won the 8 p.m. hour for NBC. Repeats of "Yes, Dear," 6.2/10, and "Still Standing," 7.0/11, put CBS in second. ABC debuted the movie "The Haunting" to an unimpressive 4.3/7. FOX finished fourth with "The Bernie Mac Show," 3.9/6, and "Cracking Up," 2.7/4. UPN's "Half and Half" and "Eve" tied for fifth with a "7th Heaven" rerun on The WB.

CBS moved into the lead at 9 p.m. with repeats of "Everybody Loves Raymond," 10.0/15, and "Two and a Half Men," 9.8/15. NBC dropped to second with "Las Vegas," 7.6/12. ABC's movie stayed in third, while two reruns of "That '70s Show" averaged 3.6/6 for FOX. "Girlfriends," 2.8/4, and a second "Half and Half," 2.7/4, gave UPN sole possession of fifth. The WB's "Everwood" rerun trailed.

"CSI: Miami," 12.7/21, scored the night's best rating and easily won the 10 p.m. hour. NBC's "Average Joe: Adam Returns" came in second with a 6.4/10, beating the 4.1/7 for ABC's "20/20."

Fast National ratings for Monday, April 19, 2004

Led by a strong performance from "CSI: Miami," CBS cruised to a ratings win Monday night. The return of "The Restaurant" to NBC, meanwhile, failed to generate much heat.

CBS averaged a 10.1 rating/16 share in primetime, easily beating second-place NBC's 6.2/10. FOX was a close third at 6.1/10, while ABC posted a 4.5/7. The WB was fifth at 3.6/6, while UPN trailed at 1.8/3.

Among adults 18-49, CBS led with a 5.1 rating. NBC was second at 4.5, followed by FOX at 3.9. The WB, 2.0, edged out ABC, 1.9, for fourth, and UPN was sixth at 1.0.

NBC won the 8 p.m. hour with "Fear Factor," 6.9/11. "Yes, Dear" (6.4/11) and "Still Standing" (6.9/11) combined to average 6.6/11 for CBS. FOX aired an "American Idol" bad-auditions special, drawing a 5.6/9. ABC's movie "What Lies Beneath" was fourth. A new "7th Heaven" averaged 3.7/6 for The WB. UPN went with reruns of "The Parkers" and "Eve."

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 10.4/16, and "Two and a Half Men," 9.7/14, put CBS on top at 9 p.m. "Las Vegas" held steady for NBC. FOX improved to 6.5/10 with "The Swan." ABC's movie stayed in fourth. "Everwood," 3.5/5, kept The WB in fifth. UPN averaged 1.8/3 with repeats of "Girlfriends" and "Half and Half."

At 10 p.m., "CSI: Miami" scored the night's highest rating, 13.7/22. "What Lies Beneath" finished with a 4.7/7 for ABC. "The Restaurant" managed only a 4.6/7 for NBC.

Fast National ratings for Monday, April 26, 2004
Despite airing a full slate of repeats Monday, CBS still managed to win the overall ratings crown for the night. NBC led among the younger viewers it covets.

CBS averaged an 8.0 rating/13 share in primetime, beating second-place NBC's 6.8/11. ABC took third with a 5.7/9, while FOX was fourth at 4.6/7. The WB's 3.9/6 was good for fifth. UPN trailed at 2.4/4.

NBC topped the key sales demographic of adults 18-49 with a 4.5 rating. NBC was second at 3.7, followed by ABC, 3.4, and FOX, 3.2. The WB averaged 2.1 and UPN 1.4.

"Fear Factor," 7.6/13, won the 8 p.m. hour for NBC. Reruns of "Yes, Dear" and "Still Standing" averaged 5.9/10 for CBS. ABC showed M. Night Shyamalan's movie "The Sixth Sense" and earned a 5.2/9. The WB took fourth with "7th Heaven," 4.0/7. Two episodes of "The Bernie Mac Show" came in fifth for FOX, ahead of "The Parkers" and "Eve" on UPN.

CBS moved in front at 9 p.m. with "Everybody Loves Raymond," 9.2/14, and "Two and a Half Men," 8.4/13. NBC dropped to second with "Las Vegas," 7.5/12. "The Swan," 5.8/9, moved FOX into third. ABC's movie was fourth for the hour. "Everwood" averaged 3.8/6 for The WB. UPN went with "Girlfriends," 2.5/4, and "Half and Half," 2.3/4.

"CSI: Miami" closed out the night for CBS with a 9.3/16. The conclusion of "The Sixth Sense" drew a 6.3/11 for ABC, good enough to beat "The Restaurant," 5.2/9, on NBC.

Josh Talks about Season Finale

Josh talked about what the season finale of Las Vegas meant to him in the Las Vegas Review Journal:

What happens when the upper crust of Las Vegas gets competitive at a charity auction?
A lot of bread was raised, a record $5 million in fact, for the "Keep Memory Alive" Alzheimer's fund-raiser Saturday at The Mirage.

Hotel builder Tony Marnell forked over $1 million for a sports car. Steve Wynn put up $500,000 for 10 super chefs to prepare dinner for 100 as part of the grand opening of his new resort. An Australian yacht trip went for $250,000 to MGM Grand honcho Jim Murren and time share operator Stephen Cloobeck.

Nine star chefs prepared specialties for the event, which honored star chef Wolfgang Puck.

The biggest crisis occurred when a shipment of Maine diver scallops didn't arrive at The Mirage as scheduled by air express.

The lost scallops were in Las Vegas after all, but the air express company said there was no way they could be released until today.
Chicago chef Charlie Trotter reached the air express company's vice president and, voila, his scallops made it in time to stay on the menu, according to Renoir chef Alessandro Stratta.
Joining Trotter and Stratta were: Paul Bocuse, Alain Ducasse, Daniel Boulud, Charlie Palmer, Nobu Matsuhisa, Thomas Keller and David Robins.

'Las Vegas' finale

Josh Duhamel, the hunky Danny McCoy on NBC's "Las Vegas" series, gets called to military service in tonight's finale.

It may be a Hollywood script, but it hits close to home for Duhamel, pronounced doo-mell.

"It meant a lot to me because my aunt -- my mother's sister-- is being deployed next week to Kosovo," Duhamel told me Saturday night at the "Keep Memory Alive" event at The Mirage.

"It's one of my favorite scripts. If any of them ever meant anything, it would be this one," he said. "It was important for me to play what a kid would go through 24 hours before he gets deployed."

Duhamel and several cast members shot his going-away scenes during a shoot here a couple weeks ago.

In the final scene, he rides off into the Vegas dawn with buddy Mike Cannon, played by James Lesure.

Asked about his views of the war in Iraq, Duhamel said: "I don't want to get too much into that, other than what your stance is on the war, we should always support people over there defending this country. It's very scary over there, and I don't think you're truly an American if you don't support these people."

The Scene and Heard

Celine Dion announced on Sunday that she has canceled her Caesars Palace shows through next Sunday because of her sore neck.

Sightings

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova, dining with his band at Simon's Kitchen (Hard Rock Hotel) after their miniconcert at the Alzheimer's event. Also there: James Caan and Duhamel. ... Antonio Tarver, celebrating his win over Roy Jones Jr. with pals and six bottles of Cristal champagne at Vegashotspots.com's after-party Saturday at the House of Blues. Also there: NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown and NBA stars Antoine Walker, Cuttino Mobley and Nick Van Exel. ... A dejected Jones, spotted at Bikinis (Rio). ... Former Syracuse University stars Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles and Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets, at the Tarver-Jones fight. Anthony was spotted being turned away from Tarver's after-party because he's only 20. Magic Johnson and wife Cookie, at Piero's Italian Cuisine on Saturday.

I read in TV Guide that Las Vegas is moving to Friday nights for the summer. I don't know if it's permanent or just for the summer.

Really? I hope that it is just for the summer. Friday night is basically a death trap for shows...

Las Vegas 1st Season on DVD!

I found this on Yahoo! They had an article about Universal releasing TV shows on DVD, and they mention that Las Vegas is one of them! Here is the little bit on Las Vegas and a link to the article:

http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/...p=josh+duhamel

Get ready for the first season of LAS VEGAS on DVD -- the fast-paced, sexy drama that follows the elite Las Vegas surveillance team charged with maintaining the security of one of "Sin City's" largest resorts and casinos. The slick, stylish NBC hit LAS VEGAS, was the highest rated drama among 18-49 year olds of the 2003-2004 season. Big Ed Deline (James Caan) is the head of the surveillance team for the Montecito Resort & Casino, as well as the newly appointed President of Operations. His right-hand man is Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel). They deal with card-counting cheaters, costly streaks of random luck and rival casinos stealing their big-money players. If the job-related pressures weren't enough, Big Ed recently found Danny in bed with his only daughter, Delinda (Molly Sims). The first season of LAS VEGAS also includes an impressive line-up of guest stars: Paris Hilton, Alec Baldwin, Dennis Hopper, Sugar Ray, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sean Astin, Wayne Newton, Little Richard, and Penn & Teller.
