Episode 2.24: Centennial (Season Finale)

From NBC:

Quote:
CENTENNIAL

New Owners make big changes to Montecito in the season finale- Jon Bon Jovi, John Elway, Dean cain and Gladys Knight guest star-- In the final episode of the series' second season, the new owner of the Montecito will be making some big changes to both the property -- and the personnel. James Caan, James Lesure, Molly Sims, Nikki Cox, Josh Duhamel, Vanessa Marcil and Marsha Thomason star.
Sounds like this is going to be a great season finale! I can't wait.

Okay this cliffhanger just hurt! I mean how many different directions do you really want to pull us...ahh...I mean delinda and nessa are in for big trouble..I mean come on of COURSE there is going to be an evil guy on the plane following them..*sigh* I hope Ed finds them in time to save them.

Danny-k another hurtful thing he has to endure and of course it is when they're singing his fathers/mothers song. *shakes head*

Mary - i don't think she'll forget las vegas it is who she is.

Sam has to come back..which she will..heh...and stupid casey..I just say he is stupid stupid stuipd...man cuz i Liked those two but why did he have to go and wreck the montecito

I have just been reading all about it. I don't think I want to see this ep. It all sounds too sad.

I actually thought the first three quarters of it were a bit on the lackluster side. It wasn't until the last ten minutes or so that it really started feeling like a season finale.

I have to wonder if Casey wasn't the one that won the bid for the casino. They made a point of mentioning the other three buyers. And Dean Cain has a new show, I think on The WB next season, so him guest starring would be hard.

As I said in the Danny/Mary thread, this was a hard ep for me to watch. I was so disappointed in it. I thought he'd go after her, for crying out loud. This season started with such promise, and I'm feeling terribly let down. I don't think I've ever been this let down before with a tv show, and I've watched a lot of tv over the years...

I thought the episode was pretty good. As someone mentioned before it really did not feel like the season finale until the last ten minutes for me. And me being a Danny/Mary fan the ending was a bit hard to watch because I really wanted him to go after her, but I loved it that in the beginning we got to see Danny uncomfortable with the prospect of Mary and the other guy. I don't think they're over by a long shot, this episode proved it but I think it's going to be a while before they are together again.

I can't wait to see what happens with the casino, it looks like it was completely demolished. Mike the back up singer was funny .

It's going to be a long summer.

I just watched the episode and I must say I needed to get the tissues out at the end. I cheated and watched the last 5 minutes first. Very good episode in all.

Aww! I don't know what was sadder Danny finding out about his Dad getting killed or when they showed you them blowing The Montecito up.

Poor Nessa - what alot of news to handle about her father. Good storyline - I hope they follow through with it next season. I thought it was sweet that Delinda went with her on the plane.

I felt really sorry for Sam too - she was really left with no choice, but to quit.

I think Mary will come back even though she does not have a job anymore. I think her and Danny will get back together at some stage too as they clearly still love each other.

This is going to be a looooong wait until it comes back.

Yeah, I don't think it was Casey, I think that is why Sam left. She asked him what she could do and he said "Hello Mrs. ...." whatever his last name is. So I think she left to save the casino. Although, with it being blown up at the end.....maybe Casey isn't the only buyer that wanted to redo the casino.

I was just confused. Too many things going on. And come on..how much more can Danny take? Give the guy a break. I was pretty disappointed in this finale.

I also don't think that it was Casey that bought the casino, but I guess we're going to have to wait to find out next season.

I wounder what's going to happen with the casino though. I mean it was blown up, there was nothing left of it. I can't wait to see what happens with everybody.
