I guess 'Friends' is funnier when you watch the original. Personally I never liked the women on the show, so I didn't get into it. But it has some funny lines, I admit. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Dude.

Every single show is better in the original version. Dubbing just ruins everything... The atmosphere, the romantic mood, the sincerety. The dubbed version often seems so cheap. Plus, could it be that often the ones who do the dubbing mock the show? So, it seems to me...

[img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] yeah, i especially have that feeling with Dawson's Creek. whenever I tune in and listen to their dialog I think that it's too grandiloquent and the pronouncation of the people who dub it is extra arrogant because they mock the show. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] - where else have you discovered that?

besides, I don't remember much of 'Friends' but this one episode where they all went to that congress (was it on the Bahamas or Hawaii?)... Ross had to give a lecture - and when they arrived in the hotel lobby and Ross was so excitedn and exclaimed: "Look at all the Palaeontologists!" [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] - that was sooo cute. [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img]

ETA: why would people pick on you because of a science degree? i'm getting one too. [img]smilies/look.gif[/img]

Yeah, Dawson's Creek is cruel, well the dubbing that is. I don't think I could bear to see OTH in the dubbed version, either.
