Sean & Maxine Appreciation Thread - Because They're Cute
Here is a thread for those who enjoy the interaction between Sean and Maxine. I like scenes that have both Sean and Maxine in at the same time.
Anyone else enjoy these two? I don't mean necessarily in romantic terms. The two seem like good friends. Sean is pretty nice to Maxine and they seem to get along fairly well. __________________

Pops in and raises the arm: ME!!!!
I´m in the middle of watching season 5 now and I love these too. They have a lot of funny moments , I love their subtile irony and yet at the same time Sean is very supportive. When Maxine was all devestated and depressed because Amy was going to get married and she lost Jared and couldn´t have that again *sniff* this car scene at the end of one eppy was just adorable. He was great and showed that he has another site...they really get along very well and I love how they play their scenes out. I love them in a best friends way. |

I absolutely love Maxine and Sean lol. They are really funny together and I also like the way they interact with work issues. I love how Maxine just takes total control of him and she never listens to what he says even though he is the boss lol. I love watching them on screen together. They bring a smile to my face.

They are cute. I love how Sean always tells Maxine to do things like he actually expects her to do it his way, when they both know if she does anything it's gonna be on her terms. We all know who the real boss is around there!

I'm sorry guys...
I made fun of these two on that "Name Your Couple" thread...
 I love these two on screen but not as a romantic couple. I'm pretty fanatic about age differences. I deeply apologize. I know true love knows no boundaries. No one should mock what might make another happy. __________________

I don't look at Sean and Maxine on a romantic level either. They are much better off as friends, and the age does have something to do with it. Not that I am against any kind of age difference ... look at Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. They are 25 years apart, with 2 kids! Now, that has gotta be love, or I don't know what it is lol. I love Maxine and Sean though. They are my 2nd favorite 'couple' to watch on JA.

Tyne is 23 years old than Timothy. I don't think Sean's age has been mentioned on JA, altough it could have been mentioned on an episode I haven't seen.
2/21/1946 Tyne Daly (Maxine Gray) 7/29/1969 Timothy Omundson (Sean Potter) I don't really look at them as a romantic couple. Though they are cute nonetheless. I think they have a great friendship. A few weeks ago when Maxine kissed Sean on the lips for coming up with the loft idea I was shocked. I wasn't expecting that It was funny and sweet at the same time.__________________

Oooh!
I saw the TO appreciation thread first or I might have posted here instead. As I said on the other thread, the Sean/Maxine relationship was actually my favorite thing about the show. I LOVED it when he was bawling at the hospital after Maxine's heart attack. They played it over the top for humor... and that's OK... but I really always felt like Sean was anthother one of the Gray children
 Also on the other thread I suggested, since JA has been cancelled... how 'bout a spin-off about DCF? I want more Sean & Maxine... and more Maxine and Ignacio wouldn't be bad either {grin} -Aquillea |
