Question: Did Shannen ever give a formal reason as to why she left Charmed? I don't mean rumours and what was said via media. But did she herself come and say why she left Charmed at all?

Cole and Prue always had great chemistry. It was probably easy for them to do seens together since they were fond of eachother in real life too I loved The Good, the Bad, and the Cursed.

Yes.

There was only one magazine she sold her story to. The reason? She said she didn't want to keep repeating/rehasing it over and over. She wanted to move on. Sadly, I forgot the name of the magazine. Yes, it's true that she was let go b/c she and Alyssa were feuding. They didn't get along. Holly even went on record to say a few things. She was fired while filming the movie, Another Day, with her Charmed co-star, Julian McMahon (Cole). She did not quit.

Yeah, the whole situation was a shame because the chemistry in Shannen, Holly, and Alyssa's acting worked so well onscreen. I know that Holly was very upset by the whole ordeal and she stated she would probably get in trouble for saying the things she did but she didn't care. She defended Shannen with a passion and thought she got a raw deal. Did you know that Holly was so upset about Shannen leaving that she refused to come back and work for season 4? Ultimately, she was forced to because of her contract!

I missed Prue. She was suppose to be there all 8 seasons!

I read that Holly was so upset about Shannon leaving that she threatened to quit the show. But Brad Kern compromised with her, including letting her be a producer the next season she would have more power.

I did not know that.It sucks for Holly Marie and I think that in the beginning you could see that even though Piper didn't like paige it seemed a little lika Holly Marie didn't like Rose.

Although I also would have wanted Shannen and Prue for all the eight seasons I am more that satisfied with Rose/Paige acting and performance...and even though it was hard for me to accept her first she grew on me. And the storyline was good in a way,that it was a little sister and not a big sister.Taht would have made me more sceptic I think.
