P3 - Discuss your favorite bands/songs that appear on "Charmed"
I love to see well-known bands like the Donna's, who are great, on the show. I also loved to see Michelle Branch back in season 5. When I think of Charmed coming on, I think of the song on "Necromancing the Stone"... the one that goes "I used to carry the weight of the world..." that's all I know... Anyway, post away about your fave "Charmed" music!

Ooh that's a nice thread idea, umm well there are too many to choose from that I like so I'll have to really think which one I like the best, but, I just love the title song! "How Soon Is Now" (I think that's what it's called)
|
I have no clue how the bands I liked were called
|
Great idea... Love the thread...
@ Hunniah.. Yes it's called "How soon is Now".. performed by Love Spit Love... ;) I really loved the performance of "The Cranberries".. i love their songs and I was so excited when they came to P3... |
oh I really loved Michelle Brach with the song "goodbye to you" one of my favorites .. I also loved Pat banister.. she was great on the show and rocked the house

Thanks for the thumbs up on the thread idea. I think that my very favorite Charmed scenes are those that are in P3, it just symbolizes the girls' sisterhood and brings back lots of great Charmed memories. You know in season two when Piper was torn between Dan & Leo, and she has the little fantasy of herself kissing Leo and then realizes it was only a day dream??? That is one of my all-time favorite Charmed moments, i'm telling ya, i could get teary... anywayze keep on a' postin'....

Uhm.. the song is played at the end of "Dead man dating" at Mark's funeral.. It's just soooo sad and beautiful!! Sand and Water - Beth Nieslen Chapman All alone I didn’t like the feeling All alone I sat and cried All alone I had to find some meaning In the center of the pain I felt inside All alone I came into this world All alone I will someday die Solid stone is just sand and water, baby Sand and water, and a million years gone by I will see you in the light of a thousand suns I will hear you in the sound of the waves I will know you when I come, as we all will come Through the doors beyond the grave All alone I heal this heart of sorrow All alone I raise this child Flesh and bone, he’s just Bursting towards tomorrow And his laughter fills my world and wears your smile All alone I came into this world All alone I will someday die Solid stone is just sand and water, baby Sand and water and a million years gone by |
Great idea!!
There have been so many great bands on the show. I can't even remember them all though. I do remember the Cranberries. And Orgy. And I think Dave Navarro was on the show once before. He is so gorgeous. I will have to think more on this one. |
Thanks! I think talking about the bands just gives a little something more to talk about :P
