Yes, I think.

Well, it has been a while since I last studied the subject back when I was in college. So it is a bit rusty right now. I know many of the basics such as io, tu, è, lei, lui, questo, quello, etc.

Antipasto is a big deal in Italian culture and is one of the words many non-Italians may be familiar with. It means "appetizer". I don't remember exactly what happens in an Italian restaurant but it may be some fruit, slices of baked bread with or without prosciutto coupled with wine. People love to eat out in general and authentic Italian food is slow to cook. Therefore, they have to be fed before the main course.

Anyone who knows this more may correct me on this.

So I'm watching the World Baseball Classic today. A bunch of fascinating games already so far. The biggest upset of the games so far has happened with the Netherlands beating Dominican Republic 3-2. The Dominicans are considered the heavy favorites to win.

Japan just crushed Korea 14-2. The games did not go the whole 9 innings because of a rule that said that if one team is up by 10 runs by the 7th inning they automatically win. Korea had a bad game today. They now have to beat China to move on to the next round. Japan already qualified.

The US barely edged Canada 6-5. Venezuela is playing Italy right now. Tomorrow the Cubans and Mexicans start playing.
