Yeah, I think she was missing. She had been struggling with her death and around the time of the ultimate battle she disappeared, Grams and Patty sent Cole to find her. I don't like a lot about the comics, just from what I have read online, but I did like getting that explanation.

It doesn't really explain why Piper couldn't find some form of past Prue, but you could easily expand on that and assume that if the spirit is missing then the physical form, from whatever time, cannot be moved in time for whatever reason.

Thinking back I really liked the episodes where the focus was on two of the three at a time (Power of Two, for example). The chemistry was different but good, nonetheless.

The sisters were in a number of ways showing off their breasts with showing a great deal of skin. True, it was to keep the male viewers to watch the shows. Still, the story was not thinking of who was watching the show as no show does that. So, they are sisters and they are showing off their breasts mostly to each other. I find that a little strange

You must remember that the show was created through Aaron Spelling. He is famous for shows like Love Boat, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place. His shows are famous for showing glamorous, attractive women on screen. The nighttime soap opera was a staple in the late 1970s through 1980s in television.

When the actresses were hired they looked for familiar names. Shannen and Alyssa were already known from working in other shows. Holly was kind of a surprise, since she previously was in Picket Fences, which aired on CBS. If you watched the first season, the outfits weren't skimpy. They were actually more serious. Even the tattoos were covered up with wristbands. It was only once Brad Kern started running the show around the second to third seasons that you saw the outfits change.
