Charmed In The Media

Great. Another old thread that was snipped when the server crash happened.

Well, here's the new and improved Charmed In The Media thread.

A couple of items today....

Here's a tidbit from Maxim Online:

Charmed Girls

Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan

Magically delicious:
The Charmed: The Final Chapter soundtrack is not quite the recording we'd hoped for—our version has the three stars moaning, crying for more, and, for some reason, Grandma constantly reminding us to wash up. We would have liked it better if Holly Marie, Alyssa, and Rose had used some of that witch voodoo to secure a musician not in the running to headline the next Lilith Fair.
The link lets you see some pics, the ones from the Season 8 promos.

Triquetra Magazine

Here's a magazine that will be avaiable on June 30th through Amazon (U.S. & Canada only). Check your local bookstores/magazine stands (in Canada; Chatpers/Indigo/Coles will have it) to see if they'll be carry this magazine.

Triquetra: The Unofficaly & Unauthorized Guide to Charmed by Keith Topping.

If you want the summary or the cover go to Amazon's website. It's not through Titan Magazines which puts out Charmed Magazine every few months. This is something entirely different. Might be worth the read.

OK. This has little to do with Charmed but Emmy nominations have come out and it just so happens that Krista Vernoff is nominated in the Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series category for an episode she wrote for Grey's Anatomy. Krista, for those who are familiar with her, wrote some of the more memorable Charmed episodes like Coyote Piper, Death Takes a Halliwell, Hell Hath No Fury and Long Live The Queen.

So at least one ex-Charmed alum has done well for herself. :)

Here's some news. There a sort of convention being held in May in the UK, apparently they had one last year, and they get some of the actors from Charmed to come, etc....

I got this info from another Charmed site but I'll post the link that has all the info: Welcome to Celebevents.co.uk

Here's some interesting news about Alyssa: Milano Works Her Charms for ABC - 'L&O' vet Harmon joins 'Murder Club' - Zap2it

Milano Works Her Charms for ABC
'L&O' vet Harmon joins 'Murder Club'

February 23, 2007

Former "Charmed" star Alyssa Milano is back in the TV series business, taking the lead role in an ABC drama pilot about a lawyer/new mother.

ABC has also tapped former "Law & Order" regular Angie Harmon as one of the leads in "Women's Murder Club," and Johnny Messner ("The O.C.") has joined the cast of "Judy's Got a Gun."

Milano, who played witch Phoebe Halliwell for eight seasons on "Charmed," will star in an untitled drama from former "Everwood" executive producer Rina Mimoun, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show centers on a lawyer who moves with her infant son from Atlanta to her hometown of Savannah, Ga., where her eccentric family still lives. Mary Steenburgen ("Joan of Arcadia")was previously cast as Milano's mother.

In addition to "Charmed," Milano starred on "Who's the Boss?" and was a regular on "Melrose Place" late in that show's life. She was attached to another ABC project earlier this development season, but it didn't receive a pilot order.

Yeah,Alyssas new role in a TV-series.I think when I start to watch it, it's gonna be weird at first because I'm used to Phoebe. But it's really fun that she has finally found a new role and hopefully something that fits her.:)
