what is that mess? Why can't they leave the show alone like the fandom wants?

I never cared one way or the other about the Charmed reboot (I did like the original but stopped watching during S5. The show got worse when they killed Prue off IMO) but that trailer was awful and too teeny bopper. They should of just made it an original Witch show but everything is being remade and rebooted these days. Just like I knew it's inevitable that they will reboot Buffy one day *blech* but it is what it is.

If it was just a show about aister witches, INSPIRED by Charmed, the reaction would be more welcoming. But they're doing Charmed dirty.

the first trailer.. wow.. I really don't know what to think of it.. I mean this seems such a mix of the old show (the idea itself and the house and such) and then so much new stuff.. (the latin girls, the lesbian, the sister that they others don't know about, the White Lighter that seems to help them)...

I'm just not sure.. I guess out of curiousity I will give it at try but

YES!! This is exactly how I feel.

I saw the trailer for the reboot yesterday and I can't believe how they are making it as if the original is irrelevant now. Calling it the same show, the sisters being called 'Charmed Ones' ugh. What's worse is that they've even got the title logo look almost identical to the original....it's as if they can't think of something else..

I think one of the other issues is that the description is always... "feminism" and "fighting the patriarchy." This implies that the original wasn't this. HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED CHARMED. IT IS ALREADY THESE THINGS.

Yes, it does not contain a lot of diversity. Yes, they wear skimpy outfits (but not Piper)... Those worked with the characters. Wear whatever you want. That's feminism. The crazy outfits at times in the latter half were blah, but not the norm. They fought males. They were STRONG women. Stop implying otherwise. This was an empowering show. Especially for it's time.

Oh yeah the manor not as pretty as the actual charmed house.

I dont know why they did it with CA if it was on another network it could be a lot darker which would be good..

Would anyone still watch the first episode?
