As for the war comparison, Viet Nam and the war in Iraq are what the producers are comparing, not the war on terror. Many people feel that the reasons for being in Iraq are just as duplicitous as the reasons that sent our troops into Viet Nam. Many of those who protested against Viet Nam feel that they were lied to by the government, and we all know that Bush has lied to us about his reasons for going into Iraq.

Very well said, LynnieV. I absolutely agree with you. The comparisons are completely relevant and appropriate, IMO.

! Hi!!!

I would like to know if the season 3 ends on November 21st? When she ends and if you have spoilers on the character of Shelly Pierce (daphne zuniga), to say it to me (on forum). I know that very soon, she is going to be with Pete.

Thank you very much!

hey, I was wondering if anybody had seen the sides for episode 13 yet, because maybe that would help us figure out if it is the last episode

They haven't updated me in the last week or so, but the last time I checked, 13 isn't the last episode... it may be for the holiday filming hiatus, but they aren't planning that it will be the series finale. Of course NBC technically COULD cancel it after #13, but that's not the word on the street...

I live in Canada. And I listen to "American Dreams" on the channel NTV (and not NBC). Then I have to miss the show of this tonight because of "american Music Award ". I would like to know if we saw Shelly (Daphne Zuniga). If yes, what she made.

You have captures of Shelly?

Thanks and excuse me for my bad english!!

hey, american dreams fan club, or anybody else, is it still true that there are more than 13 episodes? I've been hearing that there are only 13, which would be awful, because i so badly don't want it to go off the air. 2 nickels, where did he say that he thought that? THanks a lot.

Well TV Tome would be the best place to look for the info on how many episodes there will be. www.tvtome.com/AmericanDreams

Hey....I found a little snippet from Entertainment Weekly. It doesn't have an author (It was on the must list), but here is what it says:

#9 American Dreams
With a timely story line of a family dealing with an MIA son, NBC's once sappy fam-dram is now one of TV's most compelling hours.

It's cute that Entertainment Weekly is a fan of the show. I love reading anything about the show!
