11/14 Ratings up! :)
From Zap2it:
"CBS moved into first for the night's second hour, as "Cold Case" posted an 11.7/17. ABC was second with the first hour of the American Music Awards. NBC's "American Dreams" (5.5/8) tied with FOX's season premiere of "The Simpsons" (6.6/10) and the season's second new "Arrested Development" (4.5/7) for third. On The WB, "Charmed" did a 2.5/4." |

Yes, could someone explain those numbers? I'm afraid I'm always confused when I see the ratings.

That's great news
This is what the two numbers mean: Rtg/Shr - what that means I have no idea - my guess would be that the second number is probably how many households get that channel and then of that (the first number), how many are watching - but that's purely a guess - I have no idea how ratings work. I'm more familiar with WB ratings - they don't look at the overall rating - they break down the demographics - like Women 18-34 is probably their number 1 demographic - I'm not sure how NBC works though __________________
