I think there was a little. It would of been interesting to see what would of happened if there was a 3rd season.

Actually, if there had been a 3rd season, chances are Ryan Hunter wouldn't have been a (big) part of it. Wentworth Miller had signed on to Prison Break and it got picked up the year that JoA would have gone into its 3rd season. There is no way Wentworth could have been on both shows, so I get the feeling they would have quietly let the Ryan character disappear.

Of course, taking real life aside for a moment, I'm also really curious where the Ryan storyline would have gone.

Did he sign for it before he starred on Joan of Arcadia, though? Maybe if JoA hadn't have gotten canceled, he might not have been in Prison Break.
