Which is your favorite UC couple?

I like Joan and Grace.. but you gotta admit that Joan and God is pretty darn unconventional.

Some other ones I like include the Lt. from the first few eps and Joan's dad. Also like Luke and Adam (did you see Luke when he saw how smart Adam was?)

So discuss all UC-iness here. Don't be ashamed of your feelings.

My favorite and well only UC couple is Adam and Grace. They interact well and have probably been good friends/friends denying they were friends/whatever. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Yeah, shipping Joan and CuteBoy God is really UC... why couldn't God have possessed that body instead of automatically creating it?

And if Joan and Adam don't fall through... is it weird to want to see her w/ Father Ken? [img]smilies/look.gif[/img] I also like him w/ Helen... I know, I've got a Thorn Birds theme going here...

Oh! It would be interesting to see Joan develop a crush on Price though...

While I don't ship Joan and any God...because well...It would kind of be like shipping a human and an ant or something. Completely different levels of being and etc.

And I don't ship Joan/Adam so I will be looking out for someone to ship Joan with.

hmmm usually I'm not big on the UC couples I've always had a conventional one to ship [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Well except for Seth/Ryan but anyway thats a differnt board [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]...I think in this fandom the most UC i'm going to get is either Adam/Grace (but that takes nothing away from my total commitment to Joan/Adam [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]) and Helen and the priest [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

[img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] See the problem I'm having with considering CuteBoyGod/Joan a UC ship is that they seem like such an obvious ship to me! I mean, I know he's God and so it's possible and all of that...

But c'mon! They have such an obvious connection. Like I've said somewhere else already (great, repeating myself already! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] ), it means something that he knew to take that form so she could confront him about Rocky dying. And it also means something that he also got very emotional (well, for God anyway) in that scene.

So, to me, CuteBoyGod and Joan have formed a really good connection and the fact that he's just about her age (in form)... Well, that makes it obvious as a ship!

Beyond my usual stubborn logic, I'm still holding out that God (or Barbara Hall) might make an exception w/ this persona! I mostly blame Amber & Kris for oozing such great chemistry together.

Chemistry that, I believe, we'll be seeing tonight as they re-air the pilot episode.

For me, I'm thinking something along the lines of CuteBoyGod telling Joan that if she doesn't go up to Adam and ask him to dance, then dance with him. At least to me, it's a win-win situation. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I absolutely positively agree. Not to mention, and I'm depending on BHall for this theory, that whenever she writes an episode, which persona is always constant? CuteBoy himself! I'm hoping that she too has noticed the obvious chemistry between Amber & Kris.

Y'know, on some level that whole human-ant thing is true... it's just that I'm also thinking on the whole Greek mythology how Zeus(sp?) if I'm not mistaken was w/ a mortal woman thus creating Hercules deal... and then there's thinking along the lines of Brother Bear where Kenai (a man) was turned into a bear... [img]smilies/look.gif[/img] I'm just weird that way, not to mention stubbornly hoping against logic...

And I'm glad that I'm not the only one that would like to ship Joan's mother, Helen, w/ Father Ken. If Helen and Will somehow (doubtful) fall apart, I'm totally shipping the Thorn Birds route!

I really also don't think it'd be too bad if Joan developed a crush on Father Ken... like her mother sorta did. It'd create conflict w/in herself and even more so w/ God IMO.

The only way I could do Joan/"CuteBoy"!God is if God was actually borrowing the form of real people and the real guy in the body showed up, not God. Because...I just can't ship God.
