Geez that is sad, the fourth season thing, not your angry bitterness, which I do believe was justified, I was insanely bitter too, still actually am, just not as much.

They are showing the 3rd season here and sadly it rates quite well.

I just can't watch the show ... I can't take it seriously and I Roswell and for me David Conrad will always be Agent Pearce

The only time I've ever watched GW was when Anne Archer guest-starred, and that was like a total of two episodes.

After a while, the concept gets old. And they so stole the idea from Tru Calling (another good show that shouldn't have been canceled ).

I had trouble liking Tru Calling at first as all I could think was "gee Eliza runs a lot" But I liked it towards the end of Season 1 and what was left of Season 2.

I was thinking about GW as they keep advertising it here and I think my problem with is it that there is no message coming out of the episode.

I never watched it, partially out of loyalty for JoA, and partially because it looks like crap and not something I would want to watch anyway.

I've watched a total of 3 episodes. The pilot, out of curiosity, to see if it was good or not. Well, I had no illusions that it would be good good, but with its premise, I thought maybe it would at least be the fun kind of show that doesn't take itself seriously. Wrong there.

The other two I watched were just for the guest stars. The first for Sean Maher (Simon Tam in Firefly) in the first season, and the second time for Becky Wahlstrom's brief cameo in an episode this past season. At least hers was brief and at the beginning of the episode; Sean was the Ghost of the Week. I can say, though, that in three seasons, it has not improved at all.

I must be the only one who enjoys watching it then. It's enjoying stable ratings here in Manila - not too popular, but definitely with its own fanbase.

To be honest, I only enjoy the premise. Jennifer Love Hewitt is hardly compelling as a lead actress, sorry to say. (I came upon this conclusion when she dared try and portray Audrey Hepburn in a TV movie ... because my parents reared me on her movies, it was absolute sacrilege, I tell you!) One of the things I'm sure we can all agree on is that Amber Tamblyn is a very convincing actress no matter what role she portrays.

I missed the episode with Kris Lemche (then again it may be just as well seeing as it's like a demotion... ).

For me I remember JLH from Party of Five, Can't Hardly Wait and I Know What You Did Last Summer she was really popular here in Australia back in the early 90s.

I never liked JLH, so when I found out a show of her prancing around talking to dead people (or whatever it is she does) was replacing JoA I got right peeved.

Yeah, it pretty much is crap.

And the movie about James Van Praagh (who GW is based off of) is sooooo much better.

I can't hate on JLH; she seems like a cool, fun person from any of the interviews of hers I've stumbled upon. Especially since she called out some blogger for making fun of her body (something about cellulite; I don't really remember specifics).

I sure can hate on her show though. They always get the supernatural aspects completely wrong.

I remember when that story came out.

I didn't realise that GW was based on a movie.

I've tried watching Medium a couple of times, but lost interest and changed the channel.

Well, actually I think the movie and the show are based on the life of a person. (James Van Praagh.)

Here's a link for when CBS aired the movie. Living with the Dead

It's also been released on DVD with the title Talking to Heaven.
