Kris Lemche/ Cute Boy (God) # 1

Okay my favorite god of all. I think he is going to be with us for a while. Or at least every other episode

I love that Joan had a crush on him. That was to cute.

Cute Boy God is my favorite. I love Kris Lemche and hope he will be recurring through out the series.

Anyone remember that show My Guide To Becoming A Rock Star? I watched it because of him.

Couldn't have picked a better guy than Kris Lemche to play Cute Boy God. Great thread idea!

Has anyone seen Knockaround Guys? I bought that movie b/c of him, even though his role was small But I love him even more b/c thanks to him, I unexpectedly bought a Barry Pepper movie before I fell in lust w/ BP.

I hope to see more of him in the upcoming episodes. So far, all of the episodes that Barbara Hall pens, he's been in it. And Barbara's the show's creator... here's to her bringing back more Cute Boy God.

I'll have to see that movie. Is it worth buying (good action, storyline), or renting?

Well, unless you're a Vin Diesel fan, or a Barry Pepper fan, or a Seth Green fan, or mob-crooked cops-action, John Malchovich(sp?) type of movies.... if you've said "Not really" or "maybe" to majority of those types, then I suggest renting first.

The movie surprised me b/c I wasn't expecting too much out of it (except in seeing Kris's part), but it's a good movie non the less.

Rundown of the story: Barry Pepper plays a son of a small town mobster. His father had asked another mob boss for a big cash loan, which he reluctantly entrusts Barry's character to pick up & deliver the bag of money for him. Barry gives the picking up responsibility to Seth Green's character. Seth's character ultimately loses the bag at an airport, which sends Barry and his crew to go looking for it. Kris plays the kid (who's kinda a luge riding stoner) that finds the bag of money & spends it.

You'll recognize him right away

I never really wanted to see that movie, but who knows now that I know he is in it

As for Kris... wow is he cute! He does great in his role, and I absolutely adore looking at him. Plus, Joan and he seem to have a pretty amusing rappot, that is an added bonus!

If anything, I recommend seeing the movie b/c of Kris! In his first scene, I couldn't stop laughing b/c his character was really... not all there, yet was? He was stoned, basically, which is why I found it amusing b/c compare that role to his JoA role and it just blows my mind...

Ah! I didn't know that was him in Knockaround Guys! Hee.

Kris is a Canadian actor who's been in some Canadian produced stuff. The most notable one I can think of is Ginger Snaps which from what I've heard is a horror-halloween movie.

Yep, the character of Decker was indeed Kris. I saw a pic of him on Knockarond Guys somewhere online but I can't find it anymore! However, if you go to Amber T's site, and check out the on location pics she took filming the Pilot of JoA, you'll see more pics of him

"Ginger Snaps" is a great horror-like movie about a pair of sisters, aged fifteen and sixteen, that have a sickly obsession with death until they come close to the real thing when the older of the two gets her period and is bitten by a werewolf, only to start turning into one. Very emotional movie, in which Kris plays Sam, the drug dealer who tries to help the younger of the pair find a cure for her sister.

Good pictures of him from it are <A HREF="http://"http://gsnaps.topcities.com/spics.html"" TARGET=_blank>here</A> for anyone who wishes to take a peek. I haven't been watching Joan at all, but I did realize he had guested, and drifted over here to see if he had an appreciation thread or anything of the sort. `Ginger Snaps` is really a movie that I have such admiration for, because it's B but has a stellar storyline and good performances by all in it, but especially him, Emily Perkins and Katharine Isabelle -the two girls.

You're welcome on both accounts. Yes, the pic is hot

Cinnamon, the link you provided can't work Ginger Snaps sounds like an interesting movie. Is it out in theaters? And indie flick? On DVD?

I only saw Kris in three roles (Flash Forward, Knockaround Guys, JoA). Hoping to see him in more

It's on DVD... but I gotta say that I didn't love it myself. I guess it's an experience... but not really one that I enjoyed. There really is something to say for the way you saw it, Cinammon.. but I just couldn't believe we had wasted our money on the movie myself.

Mind you, if you approach it as a movie with Kris in it, than it is probably worth checking out.

They're doing a sequel, so I wonder what's gonna happen there... And I'm not gonna say any more in case you do check it out.
