Oh well, crap. I'll try and post as much as I can over the next couple of weeks but after that I don't know how often I'll be coming here at all.

I really think we can do it

January was a really slow month for us, but so far this week we've really picked up and I'll be doing a post count every Sunday (my Monday) so we know how we are going.

The first post count will be on 15 February.

It would be a real shame to lose this board, but I really don't know how long we can hold on. I'll certainly keep trying, I'll admit, though, it's a bit disheartening when the only really active threads are game threads which seem a bit pointless.

I want to fight for this board as much as I can. I know sometimes it does feel like a losing battle, but I won't quit without putting up a good fight.

Can we brainstorm ways to get people back to the JoA board? Because if we don't do that, I'm afraid our board is not going to survive. Right now, there seem to be only 3-4 regular posters, and with so few people, there really aren't new opinions or thoughts to share before we just keep saying the same things over and over...

Sure. If you can think of any ideas? The only one that comes to my mind is to put links in signatures. I'm not a huge poster so i don't know how helpful that would be in my case, though.

I know it's really hard as there are only a few of us here. It is hard trying to attract old or new posters to the show. As it's not on syndication and there's so much competition out there.
