I would be perfectly happy if they just got rid of Edward completely and had Bella realize Mike is the way to go. And then have Mike realize that Bella is totally not worth the trouble (in my incredibly unpopular opinion) and hook up with that fun girl who's name I don't remember. Thus is my fantasy movie. Though I'm pretty sure I'm the only woman in the entire world that finds Edward to be astonishingly bland and Mike to be sweet, fun, and hilarious, which is my trifecta for appeal.

I think Michael said that New Moon was going to start filming sometime this month and go through April followed by a ten week break and then they'll start filming Eclipse. The release date for New Moon, I believe, is sometime in November, with Eclipse just a few months later. Sometime in Spring of 2010 (seriously?! It's almost 2010? That feels so sci-fi somehow.)

Jessica wasn't it who Mike ended up with in the books.

I saw that they were going to film NM and Eclipse pretty much back to back. Filming for NM should start sometime this month in Canada then they're filming in Italy for 2 weeks so I guess after that they'll have a break and then start filming Eclipse.

Though I wasn't happy with Twilight and I've got a feeling they'll rush NM and Eclipse as well

Mike looks so old now, I just watched in him S1 of JoA and now seeing him in Twilight.

They all talked highly of him in the audio-commentary for Twilight and there's a couple of behind the scenes clips of him

I've been loving The Unusuals. Although, in the last episode they had a scene with Amber and a kid that looked like a total Chris Marquette doppleganger. That was more than a little weird. He had an Adamesque haircut and everything.

I just saw some pics last night from the set of New Moon, and Michael Welch has more of a Luke type of look going on in the next movie it looks like - his hair was more blonde and combed more like in his JoA days
