| How do you take your JoA? How do you take your JoA? Do you guys have any certain things you do or places you go to watch JoA? Personally I always like to bring food home, get into my most comfy clothes and cuddle up to watch JoA with my boyfriend. Simple and sweet. | Unfortunately we only have 1 TV and my dad watches JoA too...so I have to watch it with him.  This wouldn't be such a big deal, except he is a laughaholic!!  Seriously, when I've been at movies with my friends and he's there, they all look at me strangely because he's just so loud and continuous. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets kicked out one day...that would make me happy anyways!! Everytime something funny happens on JoA I have to "sush" him so I can hear what's going on!! But it's still enjoyable (how is JoA not enjoyable), so really I have nothing to complain about!! | |||

| Well I usually hang out with my boyfriend on Fridays, and I'm praying that JoA is taping. Then either when I come home or the next day I watch it in my room, enjoying every minute of it. | I wrap myself up in my big blanket and sit on my living room coffee table, making sure it's taping. My parents usually talk through it, so I watch it again Saturday morning before everyone is awake to see what I missed and enjoy it much more than the first time around, since I can actually hear it. | |||

| I usually am at my computer desk. If I happen to be going to my dad's, I tape it just in case and if I am able to, I watch it while sitting on the couch. | Me and my bestest friends, Ashley and Brooke, go over to Peighton's house and we have to have tissue (for some reason one of us ALWAYS end up crying) a bunch of pillows and blankets ice cream popcorn and every kind of soda. | Well the normal is, if i'm stuck working Friday night, I download it while I sleep, get up Saturday morning, and if I don't work, then I watch it the second I wake up. It's a whole leap out of bed and pounce the computer. If I don't have to work (oh happy day!) then usually I'm siting at my desk, chatting, while watching... but then whoever I'm talking to gets ignored till a commercial comes on. | I waatch it with my mom, but I'd rather watch it alone. For one thing, she's very hard of hearing, so even with the volume way up, she's always asking, "What did s/he say?" I've gotten in the habit of quickly repeating anything that may have a phrase she's not familiar with, or if it's just said really fast. The TV is too far away for me to see a lot of details clearly, or to read anything (computer screen, letter, etc.) they might be showing. Then I log on here and at TWoP to read people's comments and observations. I watch it again at another time, with closed captioning on, sitting about 3 feet away from the TV, looking for the little things other people have mentioned that I missed, and to really let things sink in. Sometimes I get so distracted by watching Adam I kind of miss what other characters are doing. The other annoying thing about watching it with my mom is she's not crazy about the show, and I can't really discuss it with her afterwards. Sometimes a friend who's recently been converted to JoA calls me right after it's over, and I can talk about it with him for a while. | |||

| I usually watch it in the Dorm hall. There's a huge TV in the living area, and everyone knows Friday night is "JOAN" night as we folk call it here. We all sit around (Girls and Guys) and watch it with caption's on so we won't miss anything. I also tape it in my room, so I can go back and watch little details in the scenes better. __________________ | |||

| I watch it in my dorm room, my roommate knows better then to try and use my tv on Friday night until after 8pm. When I'm home for vacations I watch it with my mom and afterwards we end up talking about our favorite parts. __________________ | |||

| Thanks for sharing everyone! It is cool to hear about other people's habits. shrams no wonder you have such a great grasp of the show watching it with closed caps is a good idea!! I have to start taping the shows. I keep waiting for the DVD to come out. I will be the first in line to buy it!! | I usually watch it by myself upstairs in the living room, since my parents are downstairs (cooking).  And they know I don't like being disturbed when watching my favourite shows. I always turn my mobile phone off, because I have a friend who text messages quite frequently, and...well I don't like being disturbed. __________________ Dearest Cecilia, the story can resume. | In my PJs with some popcorn and soda, taping it and pausing the commercials.
