I just had to create a thread. I recently saw Step Brothers and it was one of the best Mary Steenburgen movies I think I've ever seen.

I haven't seen much other Mary Steenbergan stuff. But, she was perfect as Kevin/Joan/Luke's mother in JoA. Really played that one well, she just felt like the mother, like it was right.

I totally agree. I was reading an interview with her somewhere, and she talked about how sad it was that this show got canceled. I mean, a recent interview.

It's always cool to hear the cast mention JoA, especially since it's been a while now, but it's cancellation was definitely one of the suckiest I've ever known.

I was so sad when I heard about it. I remember my dad bringing me the newspaper and showing it to me.

I was watching Back to the Future part III with my fiance the other night, and I always forget that Mary Steenburgen is in it It's so weird to see her in a movie that's almost 20 years old and she really doens't look that much older now!

We've got Back to the Future on this weekend, I'll have to check it out

I know Mary's also in Four Christmases (Four Holidays for Aussies).

Oh, I can't wait to see that movie. I hear Nobel Son is pretty good, too.

I highly recommend Back to the Future - Mary has quite a significant role in the third one!

I didn't know she was in Four Christmases!! There's another reason for me to see it

Oh, I love BTTF3. It was actually the first Mary movie I saw.

Hopefully I'll get to see FC on Sunday.

I honestly do not recall Mary in BTTF3. it has been awhile since I've watched the trilogy though, awesome as it is.
