Joan Of Arcadia - Glynis Acts And Sounds...!

Has anyone else noticed that the character of Glynis (Mageina Tovah) acts and almost sounds like the Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) character from the "American Pie" movies?!

Hmm. I can see what your saying but I dont really think they sound too much simliar with each other. Maybe their voice sounds a bit the same but Glynis acts more geeky than Michelle and she crys more than she does.

It was weird seeing the actress that plays Glynis on Spiderman 2. She was so.... un-Glynis like.

Heh. My reaction to her character in Spider-Man 2 was that she was sort of crushing on Peter, and oh, look, she's a distant second, yet again!!! But that wasn't necessarily the point of Ursula, so it doesn't quite work, but still...

Are we going to see more of her, or have they wrapped up Glynis' character? I've seen the cast list of future episodes, and haven't seen her name. It sort of bums me out. My feelings for Glynis are mixed. I HATED her with Luke, for obvious reasons, but I think I'll miss the character if she is never on again. I understand there isn't much they can do with her right now, but still, I'll miss her. Not enough to wish she was with Luke, though....*shudders* OK, bad image.

Interesting, my friend and I were discussing today that we figured that they would be phasing Glynis out now. Hmmm ... Not really a fan of the character or the actress, so I'm fine with it.

See, now, I liked the character when she was first introduced in Bringth It On. ("Girls, girls, you're both pretty." Brilliant.) But then she just got so...I dunno. So Glynis-like. To be perfectly honest, I don't even think I'd notice if Glynis just faded into obscurity right now.

My reaction to seeing Mageina Tovah in Spiderman 2 was one of "Dude! What the hell is Glynis doing in a crappy appartment in NY?" Followed by several really odd looks from my friends. I think they attributed it to the fact that we were at the 12:30 AM showing on opening day and I had been working on projects all day. And then they went right back to enjoying the movie and never asked me to explain myself.
