Ok, I know this is a bit early to be making a thread about this girl, but I seriously couldnt stand her for a minute. Her voice, HELP!! *mutes tv* [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img]. I dont even think the girl deserves a thread but hey, Im feeling a bit sad for her and her voice. Anyone else feel the same? Please post away [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Reasons why we hate SqueakyEyeBerg? (Thanks to Sweetwater Gal for the title)

Because What the freakin' hell her influence is on Adam.
Because her squeakiness is annoying.
Because She's taking the phrase "joined at the hip" to a whole new nasty level.
Because She thinks the "crap on a stick" turtle is ART.
Because She might give Adam "emotionally damaged" children.
Because She's making us work our mute and fast forward button.
Because She tries to be cute with having a nickname for Adam, 'A' [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
Because We're beginning to prefer Friedman & Price over her, and that says a lot.
Because She's calling Adam "A" and that's 'just wrong.'
Because She has a twisted sense of romance 'a la Splendor in the Grass.
Because she is too clingy with Adam.
Because she kept on reading the letter after the breast cancer part.
Because she gave Adam the most hideous shirt we have ever seen

Finally, a 'We Hate Iris' thread!

I tried, I really tried to like her, but I've failed. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I've expressed my view of her on the episode thread, but I'll just say, she's being pushed on us and I just don't like her. It doesn't even matter that she's with Adam, her character is just not JoA worthy.

I don't hate her... I just can't stand Squeaky-Iris-iceberg. If and that's a big if, the actress can get her act together and the writing improves... then maybe. I'm patient enough to try... but as of this moment: Well, let's just say that I would rather have Mr. Price any day over Iris.

So for now, guess just like Joan having to deal w/ this "thing" between Adam/Iris... guess I have to deal w/ the passing of the iceberg. That doesn't mean that I'll go about it quietly. Rants are fun [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

SWG You are a bigger person then I because I can't stand Iris enough to give her anymore chances. I hate her!! And I know it's rude to dis an actress but really couldn't they find someone who could begin to hold a scene with Chris? *rollseyes* Thanks to "Iris" this is my least fave JoA eppy to date And to make it my least fave is really saying something because Luke rocked tonight!! But Iris just ruined it *sigh*

She can cry all she wants to, come up with sad stories and even make friends with Adam but I'm refuse to jump on her bandwagon. *clicks heals together and chants...Make Iris disappear! Make Iris disappear*

So I have to say from the first scene she was in I didnt like her. Her voice drove me bonkers. I am definatly not a fan of hers at this moment. Hopefully she wont be around long.

Iris - a squeaky virus w/ an iceberg tendency to take down the yellow ship Jane/Adam.

It's irking... irritating... gah, I'm just a believer of karma that I figured if I'm a bigger person, when they (TPTB) do get rid of Iris... it won't be in such a way that it'll be like this bad ripple affect towards Joan. I want her to go... but not having Joan to somehow pay. Did that make sense?

She should go quietly into the night... anything... just go. But if she stays, if TPTB want me to remotely like her... they have major work. Mad major damn work.

I feel you guys. And I don't even care (ok, I do but it's not why I hate her) that she'll date/semi-date/hang with Adam, Iris is just a very annoying character being played by a very annoying actress.

Ok, so I feel a little bad about not liking the actress. I don't think it's entirely her fault. She was destined to be hated from the start. But I also think that we are totally spoiled as fans of this show. There are such amazing actors who portray the characters we love every week. Each one continues to blow us away. And then you have a new character. And we hold them to really high expectations. So, yeah, I'm sorry "actress-who-plays-Iris-but-I-didn't-catch-your-name." No offense, but the character just isn't working.

Now, that being said, I'm all for obstacles. But don't force it down my throat. That's all.

i did like Iris, but i didnt like her at the same time. i think i liked her only because i felt bad for her [her father hitting her when she was little], and because she made Joan realize her true feelings for Adam. but i dont completely hate her, i only dislike her because she made Joan sad. i also didnt mind her voice. but the thing is, that when Joan had her chance with Adam she didnt take it, she knew he liked her that whole time, until it was too late. i dont want anyone to think im bashing Joan or anything here, but i just dont feel as bad for her because Adam found someone new. im not quite sure on everything yet... i was pissed Grace wasnt in this episode, oh thats yet another reason i dislike Iris, because she seemed to have taken up Grace's screen time.. i was VERY upset about that. Grace is the best!
