Well, as I said in another thread for now I think it's Doily. He has the means and Cheryl casually referred to him as a psychopath. He's is always hovering around in the background and it would be nothing for the show to lose him as a character.

But honestly I really have no clue

I kind of want it to be someone we see every episode, but at the same time, I am not ready to lose someone because of this murder.

One of the Blossoms or they hired the Sheriff to do it. I believe the twist isn't who the killer is, but more as to why they did it.

But I have thought it was either Hal or the Blossoms. Now I have no idea tbh. It could be anyone really...

To speculate, she could have done it to convince Archie to move to Chicago with her? That's the only thing I can come up with. But I don't think it's her. My guess now is strongly on the Blossom dad.

Thanks for starting this thread. I will say 1 of things that would be nice on this show is if there were flashbacks of Jason & how in interacted with his family & peers. I think that would help me understand perhaps his family more at least. Or even just have a picture of him throughout a theme song to open the show, such as what happened on ''Twin Peaks'' for Laura. I do suspect it was more than 1 person to kill Jason or at the least be involved in his death.

^agreed, I have no emotional connection to Jason so I'm not really invested in who killed him, I'm just curious at this point.

Me thinks it was the Blossom father, everyone else didn't have the opportunity to plant the gun at FP's.

I think the father is too obvious. I'm sticking with Joaquin. Who ever it ends up being, I doubt it will be a motive we saw coming. Probably something completely out of the blue that is going to lead to something happening in S2.

I'm not invested in Jason at all, we haven't even been able to get a good sense of what kind of guy he was. One hand we have Polly and Cheryl thinking he can walk on water and on the other hand we have him playing girls like Chuck. Was Polly's love suppose to have changed him? Maybe but nothing was ever made clear. And lets not forget he was also willing to run drugs.

I thought he did that so he and Polly could leave town, and start a family life. It's kinda funny how FP&Jason are kinda similar.
