I have never read the comics or watched the tv shows or movie. But the trailer looks cool! I am excited to see what the show is like

I have heard their names before - Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Josie and the Pussy Cats. The other names don't sound as familiar to me.

I hope it's not as dark as they are making it out to be, I want some fun old school Archie stuff in it. ...but they moved SPN so Riverdale can have the later timeslot...and SPN is pretty graphic...so...who knows what we're in for.

I honestly love the twists, and since I barely remember anything from the comics I read when I was a kid, bring it on .

Yes . I think it's gonna be its own thing but still respecting the source material.

If they stray too far from the comics then what was the point of being based off those characters to start with. But it's the CW...it was always going to be soapy.

I agree, might as well have changed the show's name if they're not staying somewhat true to the comics .

I can understand some 'shock' value storylines but I hope it doesn't loose the heart of the comics.

I went to Walmart today and while I was waiting in line, I saw a comic on the magazine stand. I bought it. My first Archie comic.
