F.P. Is the world's crappiest dad if he doesn't know who Betty is. Alice not knowing who he is is a gigantic pothole, though. Then again,in her case, I don't think it was necessarily her not recognizing him. She was just annoyed and blamed him for Betty's interest in the case.

The way Alice said his name gave me the impression that she didn't know him or barely knows him. And childhood friends, but he had to ask where the bathroom is? I get they needed her out of the room...but...
There's a few head scratching moments with the show, that's for sure.

Ive said it before, just because they were friends as kids doesnt mean that they went to each others houses? I mean, I had school friends that I didnt necessarily hang out with outside of class.

and knowing her mother maybe betty didnt really want jughead over. and same for jughead, with his crappy home life.

we can pretend they hung out at archies or something lol.

I got the impression that Alice knew who Jughead was, but wasn't used to having him in her home, at her table, having to converse with him.

It's not at all surprising that FP doesn't know any of Jughead's friends. I bet he knows Alice and knows that Alice has daughters, but didn't necessarily put two and two together that Betty is Alice's kid.
