Better ep than usual. Wasn’t boring and lots of sls came full circle.

Cheryl is just fabulous.

That brief Hermione + Alice&Betty scene reminds me that Beronica and their moms should interact more. Kinda like the parallelism between their stories this ep.

I don’t want to feel sorry for Reggie after how he was last ep. But damn, I do.

The Ghoulies’ clothes and accessories remind me of high school even more than the Serpents' do. Also, while they're so cliche 1-D evil and crazy, they are still fun to watch.

Ugh, they just had to do that to Toni.

The melodrama and creepiness in this ep keeps swinging between entertaining and cringey cheese. Love Jug, but Cole could tone down on the melodrama. It’s appropriate in a way, I guess, but way too OTT for my taste. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t like how he delivered some of his lines in this ep. Did like his performance in final confrontation scene tho. Hal’s monologue also needed to be better at some parts. (If I’m honest, so did some of Cheryl’s lines at the beginning, way too cliche. But she pulled them off well enough.)

I should rewatch The Crow. That’s the first thing that came to my mind during the Jug/Penny/Toni/Cheryl/the Ghoulies scene for some reasons (it's the aesthetics and atmosphere of the scene probably).

Lol, yeah, Sweet Pea has been excitable lately. Understandable why tho.

Alice rules. But hate the “real man” phrase, even if it was just uttered to provoke Hal.

Highly doubt Jughead's dead. I could be wrong, but I think this is one of those show where one of the core 4 will only be written out if the actors get sick of the show after gazillion seasons (see other teen dramas).

That mobster's son stuff was pointless. He kills Andre, who has been shown to not be some random goon, and then dies two seconds after meeting the Lodge women (I don't mean to underestimate them). The scene looked like a bad slasher parody movie...

I'm sorry about Cheryl's fans but that was plain stupid. A Red Riding Robin Hood cosplay? No thanks. I like Cheryl sometimes, but that whole thing was bananas... I liked the Carrie cosplay but that's enough. And not only was there once or twice, but three times...

Now Hal... he can sneak into Grunduy's house like a ghost, break into a POLICE DEPARTMENT and kill a doctor (that poor doctor, just like that, completely unnecesary) in the hospital and then run away without apparently being seen... but has trouble with some failed Katniss wannabe. Clumsy writing I guess (maybe they wanted to keep the theme of bad slasher movies)

And even with all these I still liked the episode very much. If it wasn't for Fang's death this could have been my favourite

The Kevin/Moose part even if it was for just a second was cute

The Black Hood reveal fell down a little bit. I think it could have been better but I was still satisfied. I hope Hermione is good to her word and gives the proper million to Betty and Alice (but I don't think it's gonna happen after all of this)

Fred getting shot again... I almost had a heart attack

It would be very interesting to see if this was actually the end of Jughead Jones. I would like to know how they could pull the show off without him

So an innocent kid is dead. And a grieving mother is going to be locked up for it. Hal might have started this when he killed Midge. But it was Hiram who escalated it when he set up Fangs. And he doesn’t care how many lives are lost in the chaos. As long as he can take credit for restoring order. He is the absolute worse.

Archie still trying to be the peacekeeper. Protecting Reggie was the right move since he didn’t kill Fangs. And he held off the Ghoulies as long as he could, before the Riverdale dads came to the rescue.

Of course FP would do his best to also keep the peace. No sense in going to war with the Northside when there’s a bigger enemy to fight.

Wow. Cheryl was a total badass. Turning the tables on the Black Hood, then going to help Jughead save Toni. Don’t mess with her. I guess it’s an improvement, considering the lack of Choni interaction there has been lately.

It’s no surprise to me that another Black Hood is still gunning for Fred. Obviously one of Hiram’s goons. He really wants him out of the way. Bad timing though, with Hal finally coming clean to Betty and Alice about being the Black Hood. But of course, both women don’t just sit down and take it. They fight back. First Alice distracts Hal by goading him about FP, and Betty knocks him out. Classic mother and daughter tag team. I love it.

Lodge ladies finally seem to be getting tired of Hiram’s manipulations and willingness to sacrifice anyone to get what he wants. Even Hermione. I don’t blame them. Hopefully this comes back to bite him in the ass. There’s no way Veronica is going to just stand back and let him ruin her mother and Fred’s lives.

Not crazy about Jughead giving himself up to Penny. Especially since she has no intention of honouring the deal he made with Hiram. Though it’s good to know everything he’s suspected about Hiram from the beginning was right. It’s good to have someone with a clear head who can see the bigger picture. He knew this was all just a means to an end for Hiram. And that’s why he’s such a threat.

Certainly hope he recovers soon. And the gang can come up with some sort of a plan.

I'm sad that both Fangs and Andre are dead.

Loved the scenes of Betty and Alice.

This show is SO BAD. It just keeps getting worse guys. Like, in season 1 it was great but now? Its just so damn over the top!!! Some things are so dang cheesey and unrealistic? I feel like its getting worse and worse. And why was this damn episode so dark?

With that said, I still enjoyed it because I can just sit back and enjoy the cheesiness. And I still like the actors and the relationships and the characters. It felt like a finale too. Wonder what craziness will happen next episode.

Cheryl is apparently a red arrow vigilante? WTF. Where the hell did that come from and when did she have time to put on an outfit? At the very least she could have had a line in the episode about taking archery lessons to prepare herself after her mom sent her to that conversation place or SOMETHING. But to assume she just automatically knows how to shoot? I AM SO CONFUSED. This show is starting to go off the rails into looney land. WHY. Can we not please. Also, Jughead's "back up" with Penny was Cheryl? LMAO. OKAYY.... She's like a 90 pound little teenage girl. I just dont buy it at all. And even worse, Penny just let Toni go? . At least Choni were pretty sweet, but they need more.

Once again, Josie was literally NOWHERE to be found. I dont understand. Where the hell is she? Can they just write her out if they aren't going to give her ANYTHING. In the entirety of season 2 she's had what, like 10 minutes screen time at MOST? What the freaking hell. I'm just angry about this now.

Fred and Veronica scenes YAS. I love them together so much. Fred was great this episode. I miss him being in the show. The "hot dads" line from Kevin was great and I loved seeing him have more involvement. He needs to be involved more next season! I hated the lack of Fred this year. Thank god he had on that bullet proof vest!

Moose protecting Kevin was sweet. I liked seeing them together the whole episode. Looks like we MIGHT actually get a scene next episode. I pray for it.

Hiram SUCKS. I want this dude gone. Can we please get a break from him? Hes scum of the earth. Poor Hermione and Veronica having to deal with his crap! Good for V standing up to him. That guy attacking them was scary AF and I love that Veronica told her dad to clean up his mess at the end. Hermione is a spineless little bitch. I just dont get how she had and entire personality change after season 1. PS. Why did the guy literally just walk into their bullets? That made zero sense to me??? And next week we see a look between Fred and Hermione, EW WHY? NO. Can we not visit that again? Fred deserves better!

I cant believe they killed off Fangs! Like, what the hell was his damn point on the show? I am so confused. Also Penny being back? Bleh. I hope they kill her off next episode. What was the point of bringing back Joaquin? Will we see him in the finale? I was a bit surprised they killed off Andre too, I thought he would have a bigger purpose as well. I understand why Sweet Pea is so upset because shooting Fangs and KILLING HIM. Like, what sort of West Side Story crap is this? (I love that movie, but Riverdale trying to pull it off? No…) I was wondering if the gun went off but I guess Midge’s mother killed him. Good thing because Reggie is going to be a regular next season and I wouldn't want him to be responsible. Though, we need to address his anger issues and ALMOST shooting Fangs.

The black hood reveal was sort of lame??? There have been so many suspicious characters all season... Sweet Pea, Keller, Weatherby, Pops, Andre… And they go with Hal for the black hood? Like, the most obvious person ever? Im pretty sure i said it was Hal in 201. (in fact I will go back and check to be sure, but yeah, he was my #1 suspect from the beginning...) I will say though that the way they revealed it was sort of interesting. Having Betty think it was maybe him, but not being sure and then discovering for sure this episode was an interesting way to do it. And we find out that there is more than 1 black hood, which was a good choice. Clearly, Hal isn't the one with the green eyes right because Archie saw him in the house? Or was Hal wearing contacts? He seemed to take credit for the Fred shooting? Hal being the hood just feels very repetitive of last year with Cheryl’s father. He was super creepy this episode. I still dont get why he wanted to shoot Fred? Just because he had an affair? HUH? The whole Black Hood agenda/bacstory just feels a bit random to me. Especially because there are bigger "sinners" than the ones that he killed? And really, Hal decided to start killing because of Betty’s speech? LOL!!! And I am calling this now, the fp/alice son will be alive and will be working with Hal as the black hood. Guarenteed. I felt a bit bad for Betty thinking she has that "darkness" in her. I hope they address her mental health instead of saying she's a psycho like her family.

I'm worried for Archie because I think he will want revenge for Jughead. It seems he and sweet pea have an agenda in the promo. I just wonder how its going to all tie in together next episode. I think something big will happen though, like Archi will shoot the wrong person or something. I feel like its been building to Archie being the one to take down the hood.

Jughead was stupid this episode, I'm sorry. Dont go and see Penny on your own! What did he think would happen? He'd be better off fighting with all the serpents? I cant... His line to Betty was sweet and sad. “I love you, ill never stop loving you.” But I am not worried for him. I really don't think they would kill him off. i think he will be in the hospital and will wake up last minute. Or flat line and we will think he is dead but will be back next season.

This episode was so dramatic and I am glad Hal has been fond out and Betty finding out they way she did. The black hoods obsession with Betty makes more sense now but still so creepy!

Cheryl with her red cape and bow and arrow was so badass and awesome and I love that she helped Betty too.

I can't deal with that being Jug at the end I hope they don't kill him off!

Well Madelaine Petsch is around 120 lbs./54 kgs., though is playing the role of a teenager, she's an actual adult & I think because of how these ''teens'' act on this show & most of what they do is involving adults so it's easier to think of them as ones. I was kinda hoping that Hal wouldn't of been ''Black Hood''. Now looking back some I wish Chic would've been around longer instead of this guy. Like I mentioned in the 2x21 Chapter-Thirty-Three'' episode about Cheryl when she opened up a door at night with it was dark outside & a killer around in the town that she knows about. It made no sense for her to do that without even asking who it was, so what she did in this episode just added to the unrealistic things teens in her position & I'd guess most young adults if not people would do. I will point out, it should take more than 5 swings with an axe to tear down a front door to a house too. Hiram's door even got incredibly kicked in. This was just a bizarre episode I thought. Finally the ending I think just showed again the lawlessness of Riverdale & is almost astonishing at this point that people would want to be mayor of it perhaps.

I dont buy she is 120 lbs. She's so tiny. Maybe more like 110... But I didnt realize that she was 5'5, she seems so much shorter than that.
