Yeah I dont dislike Archie for not having feelings for her, because you cant help who you like, but i think betty deserves someone that DOES want to be with her. Which is why I cant ship A/B.

And he clearly said in the pilot "I dont have the feelings that im supposed to feel" or whatever, so thats 100% not reciprocating her feelings. But it does seem as if now they are trying to play it off more like shes his best friend and he doesnt want to risk losing her, which I think is sort of crap. For once it'd be nice to show that feelings arent always reciprocated like Veronica said.

I thought this, but then the cheek stroke thing happened. And now it seems like they are trying to show that Archie does have feelings, or is starting to have feelings. So it makes me think they might save AV for later, AFTER they explore a/b.




unless they decide to do A/V as a way for archie to "get over" betty which I would HATE.

The thing is that veronica said her friendship was going to come first, so something big has to happen for her to disregard that and go for archie ya know?

im thinking maybe a/v get closer and veronica just has to pretend she doesnt have feelings because of her promise to betty. and i would like that because she would be loyal and it would create angst for them.


Yup, same. Especially when KJ used the word engame for these two didnt he? And the actress that plays cheryl said when he saw V he instantly loved her. So it just seems they are saying the same things for both ships, so for one to "claim" engame is just silly.

and i agree, i used to like the obvious, cliche, cheesey couples i dont anymore. i want couples with passion and angst and fire. which these two have.

I have to agree with everything you guys say

I want Archie to develop more before seeking any type of relationship.

I strongly believe that A/V are going to continue denying their feels while getting closer.

I would love for them to date other people before getting together whenever that may be.

I hope we get some good scenes with them in tonight's episode.

Veronica patching up Archie was so cute! And she seemed jealous about Archie and Valerie.

“Jealous Ronnie?” “Please, I had my seven minutes in heaven with Archie Andrews." OKAY FLIRTING MUCH? (and two future titles!)... Love that he called her Ronnie again! So endearing.

I loved how they looked at each other in that scene and how they looked at each other as she walked away and also at the memorial. Guaranteed they are going to almost hook up but then find out about their parents or something... How obvious can Archie be? He's clearly attracted to her.

A/V had some memorable moments in the newest episode and I loved them.

He couldn't keep his eyes off her. I don't think he can help himself.

He definitely still wants her.

I loved how she administered first aid to his injured hand.

They are very much still attracted to one another but won't cross the line just yet. I'm not complaining. Their parents and Betty are going to be obstacles.

At least they acknowledged their closet kiss.

He playfully called her out on being jealous and I laughed at her denial.

These two were flirting in the hallway scene.

She kissed his wrapped hand and I loved his expression.

Loved how he calls her Ronnie.


Also, I noticed that Archie didn't have a reaction to Betty's alleged date like he had with Ronnie.

I noticed a slight reaction to Betty's date but it wasn't the same level, I agree.

I was so glad they mentioned it! And I agree that betty/their parents will be obstacles, which I am fine with. I want a slow burn.

I believe Jughead was more jealous about Betty's date. Plus I don't see Betty being a obstacle, and really the biggest obstacle for Archie/Veronica hasn't even arrived yet.

Oh ok but if Bughead becomes a couple, then I believe Betty would be happy for Archie/Veronica, who knows she may be the one that finally gets them to realize their feelings for each other. Really I believe the biggest obstacle for them, will be the same obstacle that is in the comics, and that is Veronica's Dad Hiram Lodge.

i just got a chance to watch the episode and OMG, howwww cute was that scene!!!! I think I replayed it like 10 times. I couldn't get over her "Valerie, huh?" and his "Jealous Ronnie" with that smileeeee and that loooook. And the way she kissed his hurt hand. They definitely like each other. SIGHHHHHHH.
