I think both potential couples (A/B or A/V) need time to grow. The writers just can't take for granted that most viewers will already be shipping one of these two because of the comics...comic wise I've always loved Archie/Betty more...but tv wise I want to see the chemistry, not just be told it's there.
 I like watching the little moments a relationship grows on.__________________

I agree to the notion let's see how the friendship goes with everyone and judge from there. Everything is too early to say how things will be. I'm in the same too had loved Archie/Betty in the comics but right now in the show its just too early to say. They have a friendship which is a start. Best friends even.

it seems with the little touch at the end on the field that perhaps archie will start to notice her romantically a bit more.

Maybe he already does but won't admit it to himself. I feel like Archie might not even know what he wants at the moment actually. It'll be interesting once Grundy is out of the picture.

I like that they had it be weird for them this episode and that they didn't just randomly make up and forget about it.

I like the fact that it was left open at the end and that Betty reacted as should be. That should still affect her. It's not easy to drop place your feelings in the backburner once it has been known. At least her feelings are out there now and now its all left up to Archie once maybe Grundy is out of the picture. I'm sure though there will be other new things be thrown in their way and other guys might take an interest in Archie maybe dragging it that direction too. Let's hope they keep their friendship in tact through all of it being their grew up together. I liked that story that Archie mentioned growing up with Betty and she tutored him so they could still be in the same class together. That was cute.

They definitely need more time to grow, but I'm totally at the point of no return with these two
 . I do think the writers are taking their time and doing a good job at developing both this relationship and Archie and Veronica's as well. They're both going to happen, LBR  .I like how Betty is becoming more down to earth when it comes to her feelings for Archie. That texting scene was so funny .Quote:
