Huh. Why would you be disappointed. Show would die a slow death if they really killed him off.

I actually think the show would be canceled if they really killed him off.

Now for the episode itself specially the ending I think Donna is really Dupont's Granddaughter which would explain a lot, especially why she's obsessed with Jughead/obsessed with wanting him dead.

Maybe we should just have one general discussion thread?

Knew jughead wasnt dead but I'm glad everything is being addressed now.

Not surprised at all the barchie kiss was fake because it seemed fake as heck, but both jughead and veronica asking if there were feelings and then the texts at the end between them makes me very suspicious. I kinda feel like maybe they are going in that direction again. SNOOZE.

Dont get me wrong, bughead and archie are a bit boring this is true but then do something else there, dont make barchie a thing.

They have to be really careful should they go with Barchie. You don’t want to mess up the friendships. During the text exchange, I actually thought Archie was the one that seemed slightly confused. I don’t think Betty is really confused, not right now anyway. There is speculation a time jump will be happening before next season. Maybe that is when they will explore Barchie. College and distance could maybe separate the main pairings. That said, I believe even if they explore Betty and Archie it will not amount to much. The main pairings are established. I also think that amazingly the show is pretty good at not screwing over the friendships. I would expect they will be careful if they choose to go there.

Still, I just wish they would leave the Barchie thing alone and not go there.

How do you figure? I mean I know there's more that goes into a a scripted T.V. show being on the air, but Riverdale's ratings are objectively low anyways, so unsure what harm any character dying would do to this show in terms of having people watch, though if Archie or Betty died that would be I think surreal. Also, Cheryl videotaping & Archie & Betty kissing each other was unnecessary & mean I thought.

cause I think Jughead being actually dead would've been a great twist and might spice things up a bit, but yeah, we all knew he wasn't really dead
