I expected more because the last ep was actually watchable. But it’s back to boringville with this one.

Likes:
- Toni’s aesthetics. High school me would have totally thought she was the pretties and coolest is she went to my high school. Adult me still likes the style.
- The Blossom’s aesthetic. Mrs. Blossom’s earrings would go well with a similar (and far less expensive) necklace of mine. Their apartment/house/whatever it is is also gorgeous.
- Alice re-embracing her roots.
- “Jug’s the best writer I know.” Try “the only writer I know.” “Then you need to meet more writers, Mr. Andrews.” Jughead knows it too. Self-awareness points.
- Toni/Veronica/Josie and Toni/Veronica/Kevin briefly teeming up.

Dislikes:
- This show tackling conversion therapy went less terrible than I thought it would, but it was still pretty unnecessary to go there in the first place. Also, I hope they are not cooking up something super cringe-worthy with Cheryl’s recovery sl.
- Red/Dark Circle, a.k.a. Archie and his fellow idiots.
- I’m glad Josie found out about Cheryl’s (badly written and unnecessary, as per usual with this show) stalker episode and reacted to it. But shouldn’t her behavior also concern Toni? Does she really want to get involved with someone who stalks ppl and sends them pigs’ hearts? I don’t think even growing up with a gang makes this ok behavior in a partner. Now, I love Choni. They’re pretty much the only reason I haven’t completely quit the show. But I can’t exactly say they’ve been written well or that their story makes much sense.

Am I going deaf or did Hiram say he had associates named Lenny and Karl? If so... glorious . Alice and FP sitting together . Love that they are on the same side. Jughead and Betty aren't sure if they where wearing gloves while ditching crime scene evidence? Ummm.. Okay.

I don't blame Betty for wanting to shack up with Jug instead of living with Chic. He is crazy. FP telling them all to be cool was everything .

I am tired of this Hiram/Archie stuff. Most mob fathers shield family/friends from their dealings but this guy has tapped a sixteen year old to be his consigliere is insane and sloppy writing.

I like sweet pea. I am kind of wanting some Betty/Sweetpea scenes .

Arm wrestling in the locker room? Um okay.

Toni is suspicious about Cheryl's absence. She cares .

I was confused, Veronica thinks there is only one boarding school in Switzerland? Um okay.

The pray the gay away scenes are tragic. It seems very retro. I don't know.

Then the over the top cliche music, dimly lit mob sit, matching suits. - Why is Archie their? Why did he speak up? Archie is taking on the mob? This is terrible writing. I am over this stuff...

Betty - who I love, is confused why she isn't treated like a Serpent? She doesn't hang out with them often, dress like them, participate in their stuff. So yeah, I get it. I really wished the writers would have just let her sink into that life.

Really liked Betty/Jug teaming up was good. I like seeing them hook up. Alice reading them the riot act was good. True to character.

Loose cannons needs to be the new bighead shipper name .

Betty is forced out of Jugs trailer. Well yeah, highs chool girl shouldn't be living with her boyfriend.

Good to see Josie/Veronica/Toni teaming up to find Cheryl. .

The bloody pig heart .Toni should have at least made a mental note of that >

The Betty/Alice scenes are great in that they are pretty real in the sense that mothers and daughters fight. I think they have good chemistry.

Fred - is getting a high school kid to writer his mayoral candidacy speech? Does he know any adults that could help him? Like Alice or even Hal ran a newspaper, they know something about how to write at least.

Dwayne's girlfriend is a tool. Blackmailing.. Yuck. Chic has brought nothing but problems.

Was that the love again? Adams betrays Hiram, maybe he is tired of all the speeches.

Hiram has no long term plans? Yeah, I feel like it's not so much Hiram but more the writers at this point . They are a far cry from the Hell's Angels .

Why Betty did you still give them the money? I wouldn't have. It's not like they are going to honour that deal.

Loved that Alice finally booted Chic. I mean I know he will be back, but still.

Hiram confiding in Archie again? Saying he wants to go legitimate? That's what he has been doing?

Mary . Are you here to stay? What is happening. Dylan for President!

Veronica looked amazing in her black outfit. That's a lot of cleavage to break into a loony bin, but still the girl rocked it. SO breaking in is easy . Tony was wearing her not a shirt.

Cheryl crying was sad. The rescue scene was corny but I dug it, yay they kissed! About time. They have serious chemistry .

The nuns chasing them as so funny because they weren't even running , but still were gaining on them. .

Oh boy the dark circle is back . Oh show .
Do any children in Riverdale have a curfew?

Mary is leaving again? What are they rebooting the breakfast club? Why can't she stay?

Alice apologizing to the serpents was a great moment. Aww she went to FP. I wished that scene was longer.

Hiram bought Archie a car? That's not normal. Fred will not like this, Mary won't either but who knows when she will be back.

Veronica calling Archie loverly in front of her parents? Hiram smiling? Her world is a lot different then mind :lol;.

Carrie the musical? Okay.

Yeah and the shipper tee shirts were kind of funny.

In general the episode was sort of blah. This show can be so cheesey and over the top.

Love that Betty is living with Jughead and all of her loyalty towards him. But Betty are you stupid? Telling your mom you are gonna get a serpent tattoo? huh? And the Serpents coming in to save the day was cheesey as hell. That whole storyline was kind of dumb.

FP and Alice are so cute and have a lot in common. Their chemistry is ridiculous. What was she doing at his house? I actually felt bad for Chic this episode. But good for Alice wising up and kicking him out. But I wonder where he is going to go and what he is going to do. Maybe hook up with Kevin?

Kevin and Moose in the fake movie were cute. Too bad it wasn't real. I want more of a storyline for Kevin, even though I did like him helping to save the day.

Archie and Veronica were cute saying they were on the same side. + Veronica wearing a Team Varchie shirt. As annoying as Archie is lately I kinda love him siding with Hiram only because it shows his loyalty to Veronica. But I am not sure I am into the whole dark circle thing returning. Its too bad he couldnt be there for his dad's campaign though. Mary and Fred, meh. Boring. Mary was right to talk down to him though. Archie needs to figure himself out.

Veronica teaming up with Toni is everything. I get why Josie wasnt cool with the info about Cheryl and why she didnt want to help. Glad the stalker thing was brought up. I hope Josie just doesn't let that go. Toni and Cheryl were cute, the kiss was a great first kiss. But again, it felt a bit rushed to me somehow? And saving Cheryl was just a bit too easy. How is that going to work? Where is she going to live? What about the other girls, and Nana Rose? So many questions that I fear will get skipped over.

Reggie is hot can we have more Reggie?

I'm starting to like Betty less and less every episode, they've ruined that character for me personally, she's all about Jughead these days and has become so OOC, getting a serpent tattoo cause she feels LEFT OUT basically, she needs to get a grip and accept the fact she isnt a serpent, she knows nothing of their life or struggle, not on a personal level. She is dating a serpent, that is all. Chill out, Betty.

As for Varchie, I didn't completely hate them this episode, but I still think The Lodges ruined Varchie, I hate how Archie has become Hiram's little btch, the way he was smiling when he impressed Hiram, ughhhhhh and he's treating his father like crap and just like Betty has become so OOC and disrespectful to his parents, FP aside, Fred and Alice are the only decent parents on the show and their kids treat them so badly. Archie used to be all about his dad, and now he's all about Hiram smh

I need some Barchie in my life, it's the only time I can actually stand Betty and Archie these days.

I also saw that Josie had a "Team Rosie" shirt on MY REGGIE/JOSIE HEART

While Archie's losing his innocence big time, I really like how dependable and badass he is.
