1x08 "Chapter Eight: The Outsiders" Episode Discussion
The Outsiders Thursday March 30th 2017 The CW THE BEST LAID PLANS — As Fred and his crew are about to start construction he loses his crew, which could put his livelihood in jeopardy. Wanting to help his dad, Archie and his friends pitch in to help but after one of them is attacked, the gang comes up with a plan that lands them in Southside Serpent territory. With Jughead’s secret revealed, he is worried about how his friends will react. Meanwhile, Veronica and Betty suggest throwing Polly a baby shower to make her feel better, but Polly is hesitant knowing how everyone feels. __________________

''One of Archie's friends gets attacked?'' This isn't your father's Riverdale at all. Though may be Archie comics from 20 or more years ago would have been even more popular with story lines such as ones that happen on ''Riverdale''. Should be an interesting episode.

wow so we learned a lot about the coopers tonight.
poor moose. such a shame he got attacked but at least we got to see kevin with Joaquin again even if it was for a short scene. __________________

Good episode!
Wow alot happened tonight. Lots twists and turns.  The Coopers have a lot of drama. The Bloosoms are still up tonno good jst like FP.  __________________

Clifford Blossom is full of crap. I'm not surprised at the antics he pulled. I loved that Fred stood up to him.
It was great of Archie to get a few of his friends to help his dad. I still like Fred and Hermione together, but I wonder how long it's going to take before Fred finds out about the owner of the land. That won't be good at all. Loved watching Veronica and Hermione helping out Polly, throwing her a babyshower. Poor Moose was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Archie still seems unsure about Jug and Betty dating. I'm just glad Veronica and Hermione are back on good terms. I love their mother and daughter dynamic. Hermione supports Veronica, there is nothing she won't deny V. I love their relationship like I like Fred and Archie's bond. Best parent and child relationship on the show in my opinion. Loved that we got some of Polly's insight about her and Jason's relationship and their plan. The Blossoms are horrible people. I absolutely loved Archie's speech to Sheriff Keller, who is a yes man. Kevin has a new boyfriend, since when? We never got any follow up after their kiss. And why would Archie wear his school jacket inside of a bar? That was pretty stupid. Of course Jug tries to protect his dad. Loved,loved the interaction between Fred and Jughead's dad. Jughead's dad being a member of the Serpents isn't anything new. Nice little reveal. Don't like Alice Cooper or Penelope Blossom. Apparently Archie lacks manners all around. Dude, you don't burst into someone else's house like that. Thank God Veronica set both him and Jug straight. Alice and Hal going at it was intense, there's definitely more skeletons in their closet. Would love more interaction between Jug and his dad. Some Kevin's boo is keeping secrets. I can't believe him and Jughead's dad are working together behind the scenes. I wonder what Jughead's dad really knows about Jason's death... Yay, Fred and Jughead's dad are working together again. I love it. They can handle trouble. Crazy interaction between Hermione and Jughead's dad though. Her husband's very powerful to be pulling things while still locked up. I can't wait to find out who ratted her relationship with Fred out. V wouldn't do it. What is wrong with Polly, moving in with the Blossoms? That's nuts. She could have gone back home. The promo for next week is insane. I can't believe we are getting some Archie and Cherly action. No, I can believe it. Veronica was spot on about what she said about Archie. He really doesn't have any intgerity or any loyalty. Veronica looks to be crying. It has to be about her mom and dad's situation. __________________

I am kind of thinking Herimone knows something about the attack. Loved all the Betty/ Jughead scenes. I legit felt bad for Alice. Archie wasn't chasing girls, I loved all the stuff with his dad. Fred being so honest was really refreshing. Moose really can't catch a break. Looks like this guy likes Kevin, but I hate that eventually he is going to get hurt.
I agree with you. Wearing your school jacket into a biker ball is ridiculous  But good on FP for calling Fred.__________________
