I have recently caught up to the latest episode of Riverdale and wow, Archie and Valerie have a fierce and electric chemistry.

The looks that Archie and Valerie give to each other across the room, the passionate vibe that they both feel about music and the seamless connection, they can’t deny between each other is not only just beyond attraction, it is also beyond the elements of cliched melodrama. There is never a forced resistance between the two pairing, amidst the weight of expectations from their families and friends. Together, they find themselves at a peaceful, relaxed, drama-free, trusting and vivacious relationship which at its very core is based on the foundations of mutual understanding and respect. They are both determined, intensely passionate but deep down, they care for one another in ways that allow them to flourish together. This pairing, I believe demonstrates that a relationship doesn't need to constantly promote conflict as a barrier towards reaching the goals of both individuals. Instead, it is equally important to realize that a relationship can be a safe haven for personal growth, love and happiness. In the last few episodes, I observed specific interactions where both Archie and Valerie supported each other. It is because of these moments that I am glad to be a Valarchie fan. I ship them harder than anything in the Riverdale universe.

Isn't that wonderful? No melodrama. Just two people forming a nice, believable connection. That's why the kiss was so natural.

I'm sure they'll have issues, and they should, but hopefully not cliched ones.

What were some of your favorite scenes?

My favourite scenes from the show between Archie and Valerie would be the music rehearsal segment in Chapter Six: Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill!. As they sang the song "I Got You", I noticed a passionate exchange in looks. At the end of their duet, you could see their happy faces radiating with pure joy and bliss. After that, there was no doubt in my mind about the pairing. Valarchie is my dream ship that is currently depicted on Riverdale. It is a balance of a warm friendship, a common interest in music as well as a romantic passion for each other that makes it a beautiful relationship.

So true. I liked their rehearsals as well. Thanks for posting these nice images. Hayley looks so radiant every time I see her. There's no doubt that these two already have something special.

And it was charming how Fred got all awkward after seeing her in Archie's room. It'll be nice if they get more reactions this season.

My Valarchie heart cannot contain this much happiness, I feel like I am about to soar to heaven after witnessing such a stunning couple. I am hoping Archie and Valerie are end game. There is something in the air when I see them interact, it is like a mix of euphoria, electricity and magic (sorry for the Sabrina reference). My goodness, I feel like screaming on top of my lungs. That intense chemistry, oh lord. Sorry for being melodramatic but watching this ship is like observing a life-affirming romance in a movie that you loved which deeply touched your soul.

I don't think we'll do one. Yeah, Archie and Val have been very well-handled. I spent the first four episodes rooting for Archie and Betty.

Then, to my surprise, I started liking Archerie just as much after the fifth. When episode 6 ended, I knew I'd begun to prefer A/V.

Since we're getting a second season, I hope that this pairing has a long way to go, just like in the comics.
