It got beaten by My Wife and Kids, I rest my case.

But those figures can't be right, The Movie show is on at 10pm, after QE is finished, so they're not in direct competition.

Anyhoo.

Hated it.

More than anything, it was dull. I think Will was the most outgoing of the lot, the rest are kinda boring. And that straight guy Angus, hardly even spoke! Lame.

'Queer Eye' Helps to Change Some Sox
Saturday, March 19, 2005

Five members of baseball's World Series champions, the Boston Red Sox, undergo a makeover courtesy of the Bravo TV show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Johnny Damon, Tim Wakefield and others did the show to raise money for charity.

Btw, Qyeer eye for the Straight Guy LJ Community is an excellent place to get the latest QE news.

I also read that the season is over and third season episodes start in early June. Can anyone confirm this?

Lazy, d'ya mean in America? They're in the middle of the third seasom right now, with the fourth season beginning in June. In England, where I am, they just started the third season.

During fall/winter 2004-2005, the Finnish TV channel Nelonen aired the first season of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. As of 30 March, the channel shows 10 episodes of the Finnish(!) version of Queer Eye called "Sillä silmällä", making it the first non-English version of this popular reality TV format.

Whoa. First non-English version...

LOL. Yeah. It seems weird, too. I mean it's the first ever non-english QE.

I'm from Finland actually. It's a big hit here and it's not as bad as I thought. Finnish guys are so different from American ones so I expected the worst but so far the guys (2) have been great. We even have our own Carson All the guys are great.

But I didn't know it's the first non-English version. Cool

Lazy- That's so neat! Here's a website on the show -- QE. I don't understand that kind of language... so... which two is it that you like the most? Just curious!

If you look at the site, here's how it goes:

Gekko=Kyan(he's the grooming guru in the Finnish version)
Tommy=Carson
Pekka=Ted
Mikko=Thom
Mikael=Jai

My favourite is probably Mikko, he seems like a nice guy and he's done excellent work so far.

Mikael and Tommy have this funny speaking voice, they remind me of Carson. If you can say that Carson seems 'gay', you can say that about Mikael and Tommy as well

There's been some talk about three of the guys in the media here. Apparently some of them have credit problems and things like that.

Btw, how did you find that site?

I visit the page a lot, especially when I'm searching for quotes and episode lists.
